Chapter 157 They Have no Relationship

Natalie tilted her head to look at him, her smile tinged with coldness.

She sneered, "Mr. Kensington, are you going to negotiate terms?"

She stared at him intensely. Her stance suggested that if he dared to say yes, he was doomed!

This wasn't a question; it was a threat!

Gabriel withdrew his gaze, started the car, and sped off!

Indeed, he wanted to.

But on a second thought, he gave it up. He hadn't repaid what he owed her; what right did he have to negotiate terms?

He wanted her to forgive him for the mistake he made in the past.

But it seemed unlikely.

When they arrived at the project site, Natalie eagerly got out of the car.

Unexpectedly, she saw Kyle standing at the door. Natalie ran up to him, jumped up, and hugged him excitedly.

Natalie yelled out, "Did you really make it?"

Kyle smiled indulgently and nodded. Seeing Gabriel walking over slowly, his expression turned sour.

Natalie clung to him like an octopus, feeling so warm that she didn't want to let go.

She asked, "Why are you outside?"

"I was waiting for you." He patted her hair and advised, "Let's go inside."

They huddled together, looking just like a couple in love.

Gabriel found it truly eye-piercing. A sense of suffocation enveloped his chest, making it hard to breathe.

As soon as they entered, Nathan came up, looking extremely excited to see Kyle.

Nathan said lightly, "Natalie, where did you find Sunner? He's an absolute genius!"

Natalie smiled, slightly surprised.

"What do you mean?" asked she.

"The most difficult project, the toughest technology, he solved it perfectly with just a few formulas, without a single flaw! He saved us ten years of time and billions of dollars in costs!" Nathan was so excited he was at a loss for words. He looked at Kyle and paused, his attitude becoming more respectful.

"Let him stay at our company. I'll offer him ten times... no, a hundred times the market salary. If he stays, I'll even give him my shares!" added Nathan.

Kyle lowered his eyes expressionlessly and stated, "I'm not interested."

Natalie looked at Nathan sympathetically; it was the truth. Money to Kyle was just numbers.

Natalie said, "He only agreed to help for a month. He's already signed contracts with other places."

Nathan responded, "You can break the contract; I'll pay the penalty!"

No matter the cost, keeping this genius was the wisest choice!

"The National Research Institute," Natalie said calmly.

If she didn't say it, Nathan wouldn't give up.

Nathan was stunned. "What?"

Natalie pursed her lips and pulled Kyle inside.

Gabriel stood there looking at Nathan, full of sympathy.

He decided to reveal the truth. "Sunner is Kyle. If you still want your company, give up your idea."

Competing with the nation for talent, did he have the guts?

He patted Nathan's shoulder, sighed, and hurried inside.

Nathan was stunned, his whole body stiff.

He thought, 'What? Sunner is Kyle? The world-renowned genius who won the top Quantum Innovators Award at seventeen? He was the intern assisting me this past month?'

He found it unreal.

He followed Gabriel inside and then asked, "What's his relationship with Natalie?"

He wondered why Natalie could order Kyle around for a month without pay.

"They have no relationship." Gabriel coldly spat out the words.

Nathan clearly didn't believe it!

Inside the lab, Violet excitedly demonstrated a palm-sized irregular circle to Natalie.

He stated, "This is a miniature biological carrier. It doesn't require blood tests. Just place your hand on it for three seconds, and it can detect every part of your body for health issues. If this can be popularized, it could completely replace outpatient medical services, saving manpower and resources!"

Natalie looked on in disbelief.

But she believed that with Kyle around, no miracle was impossible.

She thought for a moment and placed her hand on it. The irregular oval instantly emitted a warm sensation, surrounded by a faint blue light.

After three seconds, it made a sound. "Health anomaly report: a 3.9-inch wound on the inner side of the left arm, depth 0.15 inches, platelet coagulation, normal white blood cells, mild bacterial infection. Recommended treatment: disinfectant such as alcohol, combined with anti-inflammatory medication like Acetaminophen. Estimated recovery time: three to four days."

A cute voice came from the bottom, and everyone was stunned, but Natalie was delighted.

She thought, 'It could even detect the wound hidden under my sleeve?'

Violet and Kyle hadn't had time to react.

Gabriel stepped forward, grabbed Natalie's arm, and his voice was extremely cold. "Didn't you say you were not injured?"
