Chapter 16 A Chance Encounter
When Natalie left, her figure was confident and brisk. Angela, with a pale face, hadn't even reacted yet when Wendy started cursing loudly and called the manager and waiters to clean up the mess.
"Has Natalie gone crazy? How dare she treat you like this!" Wendy exclaimed angrily. In a blink of an eye, Natalie was already being led by the manager to the VIP room on the other side.
Angela's hair and clothes were soaked in red wine. She suddenly realized what had happened and was about to chase after Natalie to settle the score. However, a waiter stopped her, saying, "Miss, we have some spare clothes here, would you like to change?"
People around looked at Angela in a disheveled state. Angela stomped her foot angrily and said, "I won't let her get away with this!"
Victor was visibly displeased, but Natalie seemed unaffected. She looked up at Victor and smiled, "I'm going shopping with Kelly tonight, would you like to join?"
Victor glanced at her sideways, his tone cold and solemn. "You still have the mood to eat and go shopping? What attitude does the Kensington family have towards you? Superficial!"
Natalie sighed and calmly replied, "It doesn't matter anymore, I don't have to worry about them. As long as they don't bother me, I'm fine. But if they dare to mess with me, I won't be a spineless pushover."
Two people finished their meal and as soon as they stepped out, they saw Gabriel's car.
Upon seeing Natalie come out, Angela couldn't wait to drag Gabriel out as well, crying and complaining, "It was her, brother! I just embarrassed myself and it's all because of this despicable woman, Natalie. Mom can testify."
Natalie stood there as if she hadn't seen anything, holding Victor's hand and leaving.
Gabriel's face turned dark and unpleasant. He couldn't believe Natalie would become so bad. Thinking about Alyssa's false accusation against her, he was afraid of causing misunderstandings. He waited for Natalie to come and explain, but Natalie didn't even bother to look at him and was about to leave.
When passing by Gabriel, he grabbed Natalie's arm and stared at her coldly.
"Natalie, you should explain!"
Natalie raised her eyes lightly, sneered, and said, "It was me. What's there to explain?"
She lifted her leg to leave, not caring about the incident at all.
She also didn't care about Gabriel's attitude.
Gabriel exerted a little force on her arm, making Natalie uncomfortable. She turned her head and looked at him, a hint of coldness in her beautiful eyes. "Mr. Kensington, do you want to teach me a lesson for her?"
"Don't let her go, this despicable woman dared to lay a hand on her. We can't let her off so easily!"
Angela, who had been doted on since she was young, had never suffered such grievances. Naturally, she wouldn't give up easily!
Gabriel frowned at his sister, asking, "What do you want?"
Angela looked smugly at Natalie and said, "Let Natalie bow and apologize to me."
"Make me apologize?" Natalie sneered, looking at Gabriel. He probably thought the same...
Every time Angela or Wendy started trouble, it ended with her apologizing, minimizing the issue.
But this time, she just didn't want to indulge them!
"Does Mr. Kensington also want me to apologize? Why don't you go and check the surveillance footage to understand the cause of the matter? Ms. Kensington is not innocent. Why pretend to be pitiful?"
Natalie's words were filled with sarcasm. She pushed Gabriel's hand away and walked over to hold Victor's arm.
Victor couldn't help but speak, his tone icy. "Has no one taught Ms. Kensington that when she bullies others, she will be retaliated against? How come she didn't think about apologizing to Natalie when she spoke disrespectfully?"
Angela trembled under Victor's gaze, feeling guilty and panicked. She hid behind Gabriel, looking pitiful. "I didn't do that."
Victor and Natalie's gazes both fell on Angela, their eyes cold.
Gabriel frowned slightly upon hearing this remark. "She accused me of stealing 'Dream' online, and I was humiliated. It's my own thing, how can it be called stealing? I just said a few words to her, and she dared to resist!" Angela shouted, feeling guilty.
That incident really made her lose face!
With a cold face and a furrowed brow, Gabriel was about to speak.
Natalie couldn't help but laugh lightly, ignoring her self-scripted and self-directed drama. "The old Natalie was someone who wouldn't fight back when insulted. Ms. Kensington should learn how to respect others, or there will be another time."
"The restaurant surveillance footage is always available for Mr. Kensington to check whenever he wants. Goodbye," Victor interjected, pulling Natalie towards the car. He thoughtfully opened the car door and they left.
