Chapter 432 She Doesn't Want to Go

Rex walked down the hallway, glancing at Natalie with a hint of apology.

"Hey, Nat, let me handle this. You should head inside; we don't want the guests seeing this mess."

Natalie raised an eyebrow.

Perfect, she thought, she didn't want to get her hands dirty anyway.

She smiled lightly, "Alright, I'll leave it to you then."

Donna watched the two of them, their familiarity and seamless cooperation making her feel completely ignored.

Her hands clenched involuntarily.

Rex strode over, exuding an intimidating presence, a chilling aura surrounding him.

He grabbed Donna's arm and led her to the deck.

Once they reached the railing, Donna's waist pressed against it.

She looked down and saw the deep, dark river below. It wasn't the vast ocean, but the river's dark, life-consuming despair and threat, accompanied by the night and the wind, hit her hard.

Suddenly, Donna felt scared.

She gripped the railing tightly, her voice trembling.

"Rex, what are you planning to do?"

A cold, sinister aura enveloped Rex.

He tightened his grip, sneering. "Donna, you have two choices: disappear from my sight forever, or I'll throw you overboard."

His voice carried a clear hatred, devoid of any warmth.

The chill emanated from his very bones.

Donna felt a wave of panic.

She looked around; the shore was far away, and no one could see clearly from there.

Behind her were Natalie's bodyguards.

Even if she were thrown overboard, no one would save her. She might end up as fish food, and no one would ever know.

She suddenly regretted coming here.

These petty tricks were useless against Natalie and Rex.

Rex's grip tightened, and it wouldn't take more than ten seconds to throw her overboard.

He was waiting for her choice.

Would he do it?

She used to think he wouldn't dare, but now that Rex's identity was revealed as the sole heir of SW Group, he wasn't just anyone.

Having been in Vincent's circle for so long, she knew that for people like them, some things were trivial, and money could solve anything.

The cold wind felt like knives on her face, and Donna's heart raced uncontrollably.

Her blood seemed to freeze, and fear and panic overwhelmed her.

She was terrified.

This wasn't the Rex she knew.

Donna's eyes reddened, gripping the railing tightly, gritting her teeth.

"I choose the first option. I'll leave, I'll leave right now!"

At that moment, she saw the ruthlessness and murderous intent in Rex's eyes.

That kind of arrogance and recklessness had consequences she couldn't bear.

She bit her lip, her voice trembling, "You must have fallen for Natalie, haven't you? You must like her!"

Rex's gaze darkened, looking at her coldly.

Donna's face showed fear mixed with despair and bitterness.

She laughed bitterly, almost hysterically.

"She just said you're only one of her options. She doesn't like you that much either."

Rex let go, his gaze indifferent.

He looked at the bodyguard nearby, "Is there a boat to take this woman away?"

The bodyguard hesitated for a few seconds before agreeing.

There was a speedboat for guests, and they should fulfill the guests' requests.

Felix glanced at Rex's expression, recalling Donna's words. He decided to keep his questions to himself.

Donna's words were unreliable.

Rex wasn't someone who cared about appearances.

Rex and Felix returned to the banquet hall.

The butler reported everything that happened on the deck to Natalie.

She nodded, acknowledging it, and then casually turned to watch Ulysses and Robert chatting.

She turned and saw Gabriel and Leo talking about something, catching snippets of her name.

She frowned and walked over.

"My birthday, a week-long party, just like a vacation," Leo said.

"No time," Gabriel replied coldly.

"How can you have no time? You can't go around having meetings now; all you have is time!" Leo protested.

"Natalie wouldn't want to go."

Gabriel said seriously.
