Chapter 127 All the Ginseng Has Been Used Up

Leo clicked his tongue. "It's over. Sunner and Natalie actually know each other, and they're so close!"

Kyle's return was top secret. To be precise, his itinerary had always been completely confidential because his identity was too sensitive.

They spent a fortune on the international black market to buy information about Kyle's itinerary, and now it was wasted!

Gabriel gave him a cold look and walked away.

Kyle and Natalie returned to the Clark Villa.

Before they even got out of the car, they heard the butler instructing someone to clean the small garden tomorrow, and from the living room came Yves's wails and Ulysses's roars.

Kyle paused at the door and looked at Natalie. "Help me find a house that is quiet, preferably with no neighbors."

Natalie blinked and instinctively blurted out, "A haunted house?"

"That works, too," said Kyle.

He just wanted one with no one around.

When they opened the door, Yves rushed over and almost knocked Natalie down. "You're finally back. Save me!"

Natalie was taken aback and was about to speak something. Yves, however, froze when he saw Kyle. "Kyle?"

Kyle rarely showed a hint of a smile and called out, "Yves."

"Who?" Ulysses came out with a baseball bat, his voice loud.

Seeing Kyle, he excitedly approached. "Kyle."

Kyle accepted their hugs one by one. Victor was relatively restrained, but he couldn't hide his upturned lips.

The butler excitedly instructed people to prepare meals and rearrange the rooms.

After three years, the house really came alive again.

Natalie frowned at the mess in the house.

She asked, "What happened here?"

Mentioning this, Ulysses was furious.

Ulysses stated, "That bastard Yves, I asked him to cook, and he used all my treasured ginseng in the coffee and lied that he didn't use it all!"

He picked up the bat and headed towards Yves, unwilling to let him off so easily. "No, I have to beat him up!"

Victor calmly sat there, looking at Kyle. "You're not leaving? Have you decided on your next step?"

Kyle sipped the soda water handed by the butler. "Pioneer Tech Institute has sent me an invitation. I've decided to go, but it will be in a month."

Pioneer Tech Institute was a national-level secret research base with world-class top equipment and technology. Many physics geniuses can't get in, but Kyle took a long time to decide to go.

Victor nodded, showing approval for this choice. "And for this month?"

Natalie answered quickly, "He has already agreed to join the research and development project with ApexCorp. This way, ApexCorp won't lead us by the nose. We'll win for sure!"

Victor's face stiffened, and he looked at Kyle with astonishment and pity. "Well, good luck to you."

Victor thought, 'It's just a small project. Is it worth Kyle's effort? Natalie really knows how to make the most of things!'

A few days later, when Kyle had rested, Natalie began preparing to move into ApexCorp.

The weather was just right early in the morning, with a slight chill in the air.

Natalie dragged Kyle away and first went to her house to pick up Starshadow.

Starshadow heard the commotion and excitedly jumped into Natalie's arms. "Mom, I missed you so much!"

Natalie hugged him lovingly, regretting not bringing him to the Clark Villa directly. "I missed you too, Starshadow. You didn't tear up the house, did you?"

She looked around, spotless. Starshadow skillfully used the smart furniture at home, and there were even a few unfamiliar packages, all small toys.

Natalie was a bit surprised and then asked, "Did you buy these?"

Starshadow snuggled into Natalie's arms and answered guiltily, "On credit."

Natalie couldn't help but laugh.

Natalie held him up for Kyle to see. "This is Starshadow. And this is my brother."

Starshadow blinked, eyes sparkling. "Prince Charming, I love you!"

Natalie immediately covered his mouth. "Stop it. It is so embarrassing!"

Kyle glanced at him indifferently, lifted him with one hand, and examined him. "A world-class quantum physics system, strong learning ability, and the ability to intelligently change temperature and humidity with environmental shifts. Who gave you this?"

"Violet Campbell, the one who added you on Facebook. I traded your contact info for it!" Kyle gave her a faint look.

"You really are my sister," Kyle replied.
