Chapter 279 She Is the One Who Saved You

Before the massive helicopter took off, Gabriel stood on it, facing the chilly sea breeze, looking down at the pirate leader.

Gabriel spoke clearly, his words icy, "I transferred three times the amount to your account, one and a half billion dollars."

Fifty million dollars per person, he paid for three.

He was truly generous.

Zoey was overjoyed, a greedy smile flashing in his hawk-like dark eyes.

This trip was definitely worth it.

But in the next second, gunshots rang out. Zoey's smile froze; his chest was hit, blood spreading. Everyone was shocked.

Gabriel's attitude was indifferent, not worried at all about provoking them.

His cold gaze was chilling.

He withdrew his hand, looking at Zoey.

His tone was deadly cold.

"This shot is for you."

No one could take Natalie's life; the shot to her chest had to be avenged!

This shot made the previously relaxed situation tense again.

Everyone was on high alert, ready for action, raising their weapons once more.

But the pirate group's weapons and manpower were no match for what Gabriel had brought.

Dozens of massive helicopters hovered in the sky, forming a siege.

The dark shadows covered the sky, the oppressive atmosphere enveloping the entire island.

Even if they were extremely unwilling, they could only watch as Gabriel's massive helicopter disappeared from sight.

On the swaying sea, Natalie slept restlessly.

In her mind, she was constantly dodging pirate attacks, as if countless bullets were flying over her head.

Amidst the hail of bullets, she kept running, with no end in sight.

Suddenly, the ground beneath her feet gave way, as if falling into an abyss.

She shivered all over, waking up with a start!

But her head was groggy, half-awake, unable to resist the heavy drowsiness.

Faintly, she heard a strange voice outside in conversation.

"Gabriel, Natalie is quite impressive. In such a dangerous situation, she dared to point a gun at the pirates and even injured two of them by herself! If it weren't for the pirate leader Zoey and your nephew saying it themselves, I wouldn't believe it. She is truly impressive!"

Gabriel's lips curved into a barely noticeable smile.

"She's always been brave."

If she had knelt and begged for mercy, she wouldn't be Natalie.

When her car was tampered with, her first reaction wasn't to cry. Facing the thugs brought by Lillian, she didn't flinch.

Gabriel knew that Natalie was inherently brave and proud.

But in such a vicious environment, if he hadn't arrived in time, his Natalie would have died in the hail of bullets. He didn't even dare to imagine what that scene would be like!

If that were the case, he would rather she not be so brave.

The military doctor noticed Gabriel's darkening expression and suddenly thought of something."But don't you think she looks like that girl? The one who saved you from the underground fighting gang in Eldoria and then disappeared. Oh, I recently found a photo, and she really looks like her!"

The military doctor hurried to find the photo, not noticing Gabriel's face turning deathly pale, his eyes filled with a raging storm!

The noisy sounds suddenly fell silent.

Natalie scratched her ear, thinking the noise outside was from her dream. As it quieted down, she fell back into a coma.

She didn't know how long she had been unconscious, but she could feel someone holding her hand the whole time.

Those hands were rough but warm, and the person kept talking incessantly. Natalie couldn't make out what was being said.

On the deck, the waves continuously washed over the deck, the sunset casting its glow over the vast ocean, the sky and sea stretching endlessly.

The giant ship had been sailing at high speed for nearly ten days, heading back to Lumeria as quickly as possible.

There were less than two days left.

Kyle, holding Starshadow in his arms, sipped a soda while enjoying the view.

When the heavy footsteps approached from behind, he didn't turn around.

"Mr. Kensington, don't worry too much. The doctors said Natalie is fine; the bullet only hit her shoulder."

Gabriel had lost a lot of weight over the past few days, his aura even colder.

But Kyle's attitude towards him had significantly changed.
