Chapter 340 She Found It

Gabriel raised an eyebrow, "I'm looking here too."

He pretended to open a cabinet. Natalie was at a loss for words, ignored him, and continued rummaging through her things.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed an inconspicuous small box on top of the cabinet.

Natalie stood on her tiptoes, just able to reach it.

But before she could get a good grip, the box fell.

She didn't have time to dodge, and it was about to hit her forehead. She closed her eyes tightly, her heart sinking.

But the expected pain didn't come. A cool, large hand with a faint scent of cologne covered her head, shielding her eyes.

She could almost feel the dull pain of the box hitting his hand, but he didn't make a sound.

In that moment, her heart seemed to be hit by that box, trembling slightly.

Then, he removed his hand, his voice magnetic and rich.

"Good thing it didn't hit you."

He handed her the box, "Such an obvious place wouldn't hide anything. Take a look?"

Natalie glanced at him, then looked away indifferently and opened the box. It was empty!

She wasn't too disappointed and casually tossed the box onto a nearby table, continuing her search.

She didn't say thank you, as if the little incident just now hadn't happened.

But when Gabriel continued to follow her, she didn't sarcastically mock him either.

The second floor was arranged somewhat gloomily, but the light from outside shone through the broken windows, bathing Natalie in a perfect glow.

Her eyes were clear and bright, her profile delicate, her red lips striking. Even just her silhouette was breathtaking. Unlike others who tried too hard to stand out, she commanded attention simply by existing.

Hers was a natural elegance and cool beauty.

The more he looked, the more beautiful she seemed.

Natalie could feel his intense gaze on her back. Each time she turned to shoot him a look, he'd suddenly become absorbed in examining something on the floor.

That innocent act was completely transparent!

And the camera of the following director occasionally focused on her.

It was really annoying!

She made a round on the second floor and found nothing.

Felix ran up from downstairs.

"Gabriel, Natalie, let's exchange information. I found nothing but five or six empty boxes."

Natalie nodded and was about to go downstairs when her gaze suddenly swept across the opposite wall and froze.

Gabriel looked over too, squinting his eyes.

It was indeed a map.

Natalie's eyes lit up, and she quickly ran over, looking at the staff nearby, "Is this it?"

Her excitement was evident!

The staff regretfully shook their head: No!

Her eyes dimmed slightly. She knew it wouldn't be that simple!

Just as she was about to go downstairs to continue searching, she suddenly heard Emily on the third floor shout, "I found it!"

Everyone's eyes instinctively looked up.

Felix snorted in disbelief, but when Rex solemnly called out "Director," they took it seriously.

The staff nearby told everyone to go to the third floor. It seemed they had really found it.

Emily wasn't very smart in social interactions, but she was quite diligent at this moment.

Natalie followed them upstairs.

Emily was excitedly holding the treasure map, while Rex stood expressionless beside her. Such a game was a waste of time!

The director verified it and solemnly announced it was the real treasure map!

Emily was so happy she almost jumped up. She finally had her moment of glory!

"Director, is it time to switch teammates now?"

Emily looked at Gabriel with burning eyes, her intentions clear.

In the last episode, whoever won the first round could switch teammates!

The director hesitated, frowning.

Gabriel, behind Natalie, suddenly spoke, his tone icy.

"This segment is canceled. Not this episode!"
