Chapter 359 Why Wasn't He Sad Anymore
Gabriel smiled and slowly began, "Of course, it's the same as your goal."
No need to say more, the tacit understanding between businessmen was only about interests. Their target was the same person—Robert.
Natalie walked over and sat down. They were so close that it was easy to catch the cool mint scent on him.
The two of them were exceptionally good-looking, attracting a lot of attention. They looked perfect together.
"Mr. Kensington, you came for something like this in person?"
"Didn't you come in person as well, Ms. Clark?"
His voice was low but very pleasant, making one get lost in it.
Natalie glanced at him. He was as calm and composed as ever, cool and indifferent, but somehow felt different.
Compared to the person with reddened eyes yesterday, it was like he was a different person.
Why wasn't he sad anymore?
Just as she was thinking, Gabriel turned his head, their eyes met, and his gaze was incredibly gentle.
It seemed like his eyes were only on her. He smiled, "Do I look good?"
Natalie was taken aback and rolled her eyes.
Gabriel's smile deepened, which was almost a miracle in others' eyes.
He was actually smiling!
"If you like looking, just look a bit longer. I won't laugh at you."
He could actually say something like that!
Natalie gritted her teeth, refusing to look at him.
"Gabriel, have some decency!"
Gabriel's laughter came from his chest, not angry at all. He was in a good mood because Natalie had spoken a few more words to him.
The classmates who could hear their conversation were all shocked.
Gabriel, cold as an iceberg, usually warned off anyone who tried to sit next to him with his icy gaze.
How did his attitude change so suddenly?
One was cursing and mocking, the other willingly accepting with a smile.
This relationship seemed ambiguous!
Natalie felt uncomfortable waiting for over ten minutes, her mouth getting dry, when a professor walked in.
"Students, Mr. Williams had an urgent matter and has already left. You can all go now."
Everyone stood up regretfully and left dejectedly.
Natalie also stood up disappointedly to leave, but before she reached the door, she was bumped by a boy in a hurry to get out.
She instinctively stumbled forward, and a hand quickly wrapped around her waist, helping her steady herself.
Seeing the watch on the hand around her hand, she didn't need to guess who it was.
As soon as she looked up, she saw Gabriel holding her hand, already at the door, his tall and slender figure completely blocking the exit.
His eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, staring dangerously and intimidatingly at a boy nearby, exuding a chilling aura.
No one around dared to move. The boy was trembling, standing there, scared by his gaze.
One second, two seconds, the boy suddenly realized and looked at Natalie.
He stammered, his face turning red, "Sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you. My apologies."
Natalie smiled, "It's okay, go ahead."
She glanced at Gabriel.
His gaze had retracted all its sharpness and coldness, making way, but no one dared to pass.
Natalie pursed her lips and, under everyone's gaze, smiled and walked out.
Gabriel followed.
One in front, one behind, neither fast nor slow.
On the campus, Natalie unconsciously quickened her pace.
Gabriel couldn't help but call out to her.
"Want to grab a meal together?"
Natalie replied, "I have no appetite to eat with you."
Gabriel paused, his voice slowly lowering, a playful smile curling his lips, his tone clear and casual.
"Who do you have an appetite to eat with then?"
Natalie's eyelid twitched, deliberately trying to annoy him.
"With my new boyfriend."
Hoping he would back off.
