Chapter 376 Throw Him Out

In an instant, the atmosphere became stagnant.

The conversation happening not far away seemed separated by a barrier from what was happening here.

Robert's disgust was undisguised.

It didn't matter if it was Walter, who had been with him for a decade; breaking his rules meant paying the price.

His words were clear: no matter who he collaborated with, someone of Joe's status was far from qualified.

Joe's expression changed several times, looking at Walter for help. "Walter."

Walter frowned, still wanting to fight for a chance for Joe. How could it be reasonable for Natalie, who suddenly appeared, to take it away?

"Mr. Williams, could you reconsider?"

"Walter, my daddy has made it very clear. Are you senile? He won't be friends with someone he dislikes. Daddy likes Natalie."

Mike couldn't help but frown, his features scrunching together.

Walter was as annoying as ever.

Usually, he meddled in Mike's life and studies, drove away the teachers and friends he liked, and self-righteously preached. Now he was even teaming up with someone he disliked to bully Natalie.

He had seen with his eyes how they had spoken rudely to Natalie at the entrance of the Clark Group.

Mike wouldn't forget.

Thinking this, he turned and tugged at Robert's sleeve, complaining angrily.

"Walter is so annoying. He was just bullying Natalie at the door, not letting her in. He's very rude!"

Robert's expression turned dark and grim, his eyes sharply looking at Walter.

Manners were a basic quality he assessed in his subordinates.

Walter shivered all over. "No, I didn't, Mr. Mike Williams. You can't just say that!"

"Do I need to frame you?"

Mike snorted heavily, showing his disdain.

Walter could feel the cold indifference emanating from Robert, not even daring to look him in the eye.

He regretted agreeing to bring Joe here.

He had thought that after being by Robert's side for so many years, Robert valued him and would consider his words.

But at that moment, he felt a chill all over, unable to stop trembling.

Walter forgot that he was just a butler.

No matter how dignified and enviable it seemed to outsiders that he could become Robert's butler, in Robert's eyes, he was just a servant.

Walter shivered as he explained, "Mr. Williams, I didn't mean it. When I saw Ms. Clark wearing Mrs. Williams' dress, I got anxious and spoke out of turn."

Robert's gaze pierced him harshly.

A few of his words had touched a taboo.

In an instant, even Mike fell silent, his clear eyes looking at Robert.

The next second, Robert waved his hand, and the bodyguards in the shadows came over.

He ordered, "Throw them out."

He looked at the pale-faced Walter without a trace of emotion.

"From today on, you have no relationship with the Williams family. Since you broke the Williams family's rules, you'd better get far away before I take action."

Before Walter could speak, the bodyguards stepped forward, one covering his mouth and the other dragging him out.

Joe and Billy were also separately thrown out.

Robert was silent for a few seconds, his grim expression gradually softening. He turned back and looked at Natalie, smiling.

"Sorry for the scene, Ms. Clark. You shouldn't have had to hear that."

Natalie smiled, showing understanding. "It's okay, but is this dress I'm wearing Mrs. Williams'?"
