Chapter 11 Cliché

Natalie stood there, already aware that someone had come because besides Alyssa, no one else would come find her.
She casually glanced over and saw Alyssa looking meek and pitiful.
Natalie walked up to her, and Alyssa's smile turned cold, dropping her pretense.
"You came to the banquet on purpose, didn't you? You came to meet Gabriel, right? You're divorced, but why are you still clinging to him? If I were you, I would stay far away and not wait here to be humiliated."
Natalie looked at Alyssa with a cold, mocking gaze.
"Alyssa, the whole world knows you're a mistress. Are you enjoying yourself during this time?"
Every piece of news on the popular search rankings had thoroughly exposed Alyssa, including her relationship with Gabriel.
Although Gabriel had taken down related news, Alyssa, as the mistress, had received a lot of public criticism.
There was a time when she couldn't even sleep well.

"Natalie, I think titles aren't important, emotions are important. Can Gabriel and I make it to the end, can you?" Alyssa snorted, looking her up and down.

"You only obtained an invitation to the banquet because of the money you earned from selling your blood, right? Otherwise, how could you come to a place like this? And your clothes and jewelry, are they all rented?"

Alyssa stepped forward, her gaze flickering, and walked to the edge of the pool, sneering.

"Natalie, you're asking for trouble."

Alyssa said, and suddenly leaned back, instantly falling into the pool. The sound of splashing water immediately caught everyone's attention.

Everyone exclaimed.

Natalie watched the scene without any reaction. Her gaze slightly darkened, and suddenly she recalled the banquet she had held three years ago when she had just married Gabriel. It was almost exactly the same situation.

"Natalie, I won't congratulate you on your marriage, after all, Gabriel doesn't love you. If it wasn't because you can give me blood anytime, Gabriel wouldn't have agreed to marry you. You two won't be happy together, believe me, just look..."

Alyssa leaped into the pool, and without hesitation, Gabriel also jumped in.

Alyssa proved the truth with actions. At that time, Natalie thought her sincerity would move him, but she lost miserably.

And now, Alyssa jumped again, struggling and screaming in the water.

A man quickly rushed over to Natalie's side. She didn't need to think to know that it was definitely Gabriel. He anxiously lifted Alyssa out of the water.

"Gabriel, don't blame Natalie, I will apologize. She hasn't forgiven me and must still be blaming me, but Natalie didn't mean it on purpose."

Alyssa curled up in his embrace, quietly sobbing in distress. The onlookers felt sorry for her, and their gazes looked peculiarly at Natalie.

Victor rushed over upon hearing the commotion, furrowing his brows slightly when he saw the scene. Natalie stopped him from helping and instead whispered a few words in his ear, then Victor left.

Gabriel held a soaking wet Alyssa in his arms, draped a jacket over her, and coldly looked at Natalie with dark eyes.

Natalie met his gaze fearlessly, mocking him.

"She already used this trick before, can't believe you still fell for it."

But Natalie didn't care whether Gabriel believed it or not. She tucked aside a strand of hair from her ear and sneered, "Doesn't matter. Your acting skills are so cliché, no improvement at all. "

Natalie was about to turn around and leave, but Alyssa wouldn't let this great opportunity for boosting her reputation slip away. She suddenly got up from Gabriel and grabbed Natalie's arm, crying.

"Natalie, I know you don't like me, but every time you donate blood, Gabriel gives you money. What else are you unsatisfied with? Why are you still clinging on after the divorce and accusing us? You do everything you can to attend these banquets, refusing to give up, right?"
