Chapter 217 The Person She Was Going on a Blind Date With

Natalie shot him a frosty smile. She had planned to chat with him about Lillian. But after mulling it over, she decided against it. She couldn't even sort out her own mess.

Kelly finished mingling and quietly sidled up, tugging on Natalie's wrist. "Natalie, I saw Gabriel!"

Natalie frowned a bit. It wasn't exactly shocking that Gabriel would show up at this event. Even though she wasn't thrilled to see him, it wasn't worth making a scene.

Kelly bit her lip, looking hesitant. "The guy standing next to Gabriel is the one my mom set me up with for a blind date!"

Natalie almost choked on her drink. Charlie was just as stunned. They both stood there, dumbfounded that Kelly actually went on a blind date.

Kelly sighed. "My mom made me go. I don't like him, but the families are almost set on it."

Natalie felt a pang of worry for her. Charlie, on the other hand, looked a bit envious and glanced at Natalie. "If only our families could do the same, wouldn't that be something?"

Natalie and Kelly both snapped, "Get lost." Charlie had the nerve to gloat.

Kelly said, "Natalie, you have to help me!"

Natalie pursed her lips. "Of course, I want to help you, but..." But she couldn't just march up to the families and start a war.

Kelly's eyes lit up. She pulled Natalie closer and shared her plan.

Natalie twitched her mouth. Kelly actually wanted Natalie to create a scandal with the blind date.

Natalie said, "My reputation's already in the gutter, and you want to make it worse?"

Kelly tugged at her helplessly. "But besides you, I can't think of anyone better. If it were just some random woman, my family would squash it. Only you can make them think twice."

Charlie watched Natalie and Kelly whispering, clueless about their plotting. Just then, someone came over to drink with him and dragged him away.

Natalie looked troubled. "But what if someone finds out?"

Kelly replied, "Don't worry; no one's taking photos here. As long as someone sees it, that's enough." As long as it could show this guy had bad intentions, even daring to mess with Natalie!

Kelly urged her. Natalie gritted her teeth and made her mind to do it for Kelly. She braced herself, lifted her dress, and headed in the direction Kelly pointed.

Gabriel and Leo were sitting there, with Vincent across from them.

Natalie paused slightly. Vincent was the guy who hated her the most back then. She looked around. No fourth person in sight. So she guessed he was Kelly's blind date.

Natalie thought Vincent couldn't be with her friend. He didn't deserve it! She took a deep breath, holding her dress in one hand and a wine glass in the other, then walked over gracefully.

Leo noticed Natalie approaching and excitedly nudged Gabriel's arm. "Gabriel, did Natalie really mean it when she said she was done with you? She's actually coming over."

Looking at the approaching Natalie, with her graceful figure and cold, stunning features, Leo couldn't help but be impressed.

Gabriel stayed calm, frowning slightly. Hearing Leo's words, he couldn't help but feel a flicker of anticipation. His chest tightened.

In a blink, Natalie was in front of them.

"Natalie, are you here to see Gabriel? Then we won't disturb you," Leo said, about to stand up and pull Vincent away.

Gabriel sat there steadily, waiting for her to speak.

Natalie glanced at Gabriel, her gaze cold and indifferent. She acted like she didn't see him and looked past him. Her gaze fixed on Vincent. "Mr. Turner, care to have a drink with me?"

The three of them were stunned. Leo looked at Vincent and Natalie like he'd seen ghosts. Gabriel's aura turned icy, staring at Natalie.

Vincent's eyes narrowed. Although he was momentarily shocked after learning her identity, he wouldn't cater to Natalie like Leo. He wouldn't let anyone have leverage over him. So, he didn't need to consider Natalie's feelings.

"What for?" Vincent said coldly.

Leo nodded blankly. "Yeah, what for?"

Natalie raised an eyebrow, smiling meaningfully. "We didn't before, but who knows about the future."
