Chapter 355 You Are Not Poor
Rex stared intently at Donna. When she played him back then, he thought he had done something wrong and rushed back to apologize.
But all he saw was her flirting with Vincent, entering hotels together, clearly not for the first time.
Later, when he wanted to confront her, she inexplicably transferred schools and disappeared.
To Rex, Donna was already dead!
It was simply a disgrace to his life!
Everyone's eyes were different, surprised as they looked at Donna and Rex. Who would have thought they would learn about these things the night before the wedding?
Vincent's brow furrowed, his eyes filled with a chilling coldness, his whole body tense. Donna anxiously grabbed Vincent's arm, "It's not true, I didn't lie to you, I truly love you!"
Vincent stood there, his expression stern and cold, unmoving.
She bit her lip and turned to look at Rex.
"Isn't it just a few thousand dollars? Do you have any shame? Are you happy now that you've ruined me? We broke up, so what's wrong with asking for some emotional compensation?"
Everyone's eyes simultaneously turned strange.
Donna, furious and trembling, pointed at Rex and scolded, "You wanted to marry me back then. How could you marry without money? Who would be with you?"
She spoke recklessly, then looked at Natalie with a cold sneer. "And now, aren't you clinging to a rich woman? How much more noble are you than I?"
Natalie curled her lips, her eyes sharp.
"So, you cheated on Rex and broke up with him because Mr. Turner is richer?"
"Anyone would make that choice, right?"
Donna blurted out, but the next second, she regretted it, her expression turning pale.
She stiffly turned to look at Vincent, whose face was now dark and gloomy, his eyes full of anger.
He was never a gentle person; it was Donna's tenderness that gradually made him soften and learn to control his temper.
But now, she tore apart that tenderness, telling him it was all a facade.
The atmosphere around felt tense, everyone's expressions strained.
Donna, who was about to marry Vincent the next day, turned out to be a cheating liar.
Rex took a deep breath, suddenly feeling much better.
No matter how well Donna pretended, there would always be a time when she couldn't keep it up. But he didn't expect that day to come so soon.
Watching her expression gradually break and near collapse.
He smiled, a lightness of relief flashing in his eyes.
"Bad luck for me, those few thousand dollars might as well have gone down the drain."
"By the way, I heard you're pregnant, congratulations! This trick of getting pregnant before marriage is really something, no wonder you outshone those other girls; they couldn't go as far as you did."
Her purpose for getting pregnant was obvious.
Donna's eyes widened, her blood running cold, and Vincent was stunned by this statement as well.
What he thought was a natural progression, what if it was with ulterior motives?
He looked at her sideways, suppressing his anger, then looked up at Rex, his voice cold and filled with heavy dissatisfaction.
"Are you done?"
Rex curled his lips and patted Natalie's shoulder.
He nodded slightly, "Sorry to interrupt, I hope our presence didn't ruin your good mood. Congratulations on your wedding!"
Everyone was shocked. Could they remain happy?
Natalie smiled, leaning against him, her eyes flashing slightly.
"By the way, let me introduce you. Rex is not some poor guy. He's the only son of SW Group, the founding family of the famous adventure brand Sportivewive. The group's business is all overseas, so Ms. Nelson might not have found out. So, he's not clinging to me."
