Chapter 358 The Bride Has Been Switched

Natalie played with them until past 1 a.m.

The next day, Natalie slept in until late morning. Wisely, she had locked Starshadow outside the door, ensuring no one would disturb her.

The sunlight lazily crept onto her face. Natalie turned over and continued to sleep.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

One ring after another, she irritably picked it up. Seeing the caller, she was even more furious.

"Kelly, when can I get a good sleep?"

Kelly was stunned for a few seconds, then burst into laughter.

"Do you know what you missed because you were sleeping?"

"What?"

"Vincent's wedding. The bride was changed!"

It was like a bolt from the blue, leaving her a bit stunned.

She paused, "Huh?"

"I heard that at Vincent's bachelor party last night, the ex-boyfriend of his fiancée showed up. No one knows what he said, but Vincent took his fiancée to the hospital, and it turned out she wasn't pregnant at all!"

"Vincent changed the bride the next day. He married a wealthy young lady from a neighboring city, who had been pursuing him for a long time. Her family is scholarly, not as influential as the Turner family, but much better than the previous one."

Natalie was wide awake now. Kelly didn't know that she had gone with that ex-boyfriend last night. But she hadn't expected all this to happen.

She thought that if Vincent found out, at most he would continue with the wedding for the sake of family reputation, or at worst, cancel the wedding altogether.

But she never expected that Donna was faking her pregnancy.

And Vincent changed brides so quickly.

It seemed he left no room for Donna at all.

Natalie pursed her lips. "And the new bride agreed to this?"

Kelly nonchalantly replied, "Why wouldn't she? I heard she proposed it herself, and Vincent agreed. Besides, in our industry, there's no one else suitable for the Turner family. Everyone knows about Vincent's mess. Who would want to ruin their daughter?"

Natalie was silent for a while.

After chatting with Kelly for a bit, she lazily got out of bed.

It was almost noon. She wanted to grab a meal near the office and ask Aaron about the progress of the investigation on Robert.

But halfway there, she got a call from Aaron, saying that Robert had shown up at Apex University.

Natalie quickly turned around and headed to Apex University.

Such a big shot would surely be surrounded by people. After some inquiries, she learned he was giving a lecture to the students.

She hurried to the large lecture hall, but as soon as she entered, she was dumbfounded.

The place was packed, not a single seat available, with people even standing at the back.

It seemed Robert was very mysterious in everyone's eyes, and they all wanted to see him in person.

Natalie stood there, feeling frustrated, unsure whether to stay at the door or leave.

Just as she was hesitating, someone waved at her with a clear and rich voice.

"Natalie, come over."

She looked at Gabriel, sitting in the center of the front row, wearing an expensive custom-made suit, a watch worth several houses on his wrist, exuding an air of nobility and elegance, completely out of place in the crowded classroom.

There was an empty seat next to him, and no one dared to sit there.

She was momentarily surprised, hesitated for a few seconds, then walked over. After all, making money was more important than disliking him.

She would never turn down money.

"What are you doing here?"

Natalie couldn't help but ask, her tone far from friendly or gentle.
