Chapter 471 Isn't More Important Than Her

Gabriel's eyes were dark and intense as he glanced up to see Blair watching him from the second-floor railing.

He gave a slight nod, and Blair pursed his lips. "Come upstairs."

In the study, Blair sat behind the desk, her expression stern and cold.

"I made my point very clear over the phone."

"I disagree."

Gabriel was blunt.

Blair's face twisted with anger. "If it weren't for Natalie being backed by the Clark family, I wouldn't have agreed to you two getting back together. Now, you nearly lost your life for her, and she doesn't even care. Are we supposed to throw away the Kensington family's dignity for her?"

The atmosphere in the study turned icy and silent.

It was terrifyingly solemn.

Gabriel didn't back down, his gaze cold and resolute.

"The Kensington family's dignity isn't more important than Natalie."

"What did you say?"

Blair's voice rose sharply, her breathing becoming erratic with anger, her face contorted.

Gabriel's gaze was piercing.

"There's no one else but her. Briar will never be a possibility, nor is she worthy of comparison."

A loud crash.

Blair, in a fit of rage, grabbed the ashtray from the desk and hurled it at Gabriel.

But Gabriel didn't dodge. The ashtray struck his forehead heavily, and blood began to pour instantly.

Blair was momentarily stunned, seeing Gabriel's indifferent reaction, both angry and anxious.

All for Natalie!

Gabriel swayed slightly but steadied himself, casually wiping the wound with his hand, his gaze heavy as he looked at Blair.

"If I can't decide my marriage, then find someone else you can control."

Given his current status, leaving the Kensington family would only make it easier for him to wield the immense, secretive power behind him.

With that, he turned coldly and calmly, leaning on his cane, and left with determination.

His words were harsh, but his stance was clear.

He was willing to turn against the entire Kensington family.

Blair glared at his departing figure, the most promising heir of the Kensington family, daring to betray the family for Natalie?

Gabriel descended the stairs, his cold demeanor keeping everyone at a distance. Those who wanted to help didn't dare approach.

Wendy thought Blair had made things clear enough, and Gabriel couldn't possibly ignore it.

"Gabriel, why don't you stay here for a few days? You could accompany Ms. Vasquez on some outings?"

Briar stood nearby, slightly nervous. She tried to emulate Yasmin's grace, aiming to be a refined lady, but she couldn't quite pull it off.

Gabriel glanced at her but said nothing, walking straight out.

Wendy, unwilling to give up, called out again, "Gabriel, are you going to ignore Grandpa's words too?"

Gabriel paused. "Do you still want to see Angela?"

The air froze instantly.

Wendy's face turned sour. Gabriel was using Angela to warn her?

Briar didn't understand their exchange but sensed the tension.

She quickly stepped forward to ease the situation.

"Mrs. Wendy Kensington, Mr. Gabriel Kensington is very busy. I can explore on my own. Don't let me interrupt his important work."

Wendy forced a smile and patted Briar's hand. "You're so considerate."

Gabriel said nothing and left directly.

Back home.

Only Jagger was there, walking the silly dog around the large house.

Gabriel frowned. "Why is it still here?"

Jagger replied, "Mr. Dixon said to keep it here for a few days. He'll come pick it up himself."

The dog wagged its tail and walked over to Gabriel, mimicking his limping gait with the cane, hobbling a few steps ahead.

Gabriel's expression darkened.

Jagger couldn't help but laugh. "No wonder Mr. Dixon said this dog has an IQ of 120."

Gabriel's cold gaze swept over him, and Jagger's laughter abruptly stopped.
