Chapter 170 Do You Want to Settle This Privately?
Natalie thought, 'I did that on purpose? How could he say so? He’s the one who suddenly braked on purpose!'
But if she wasn't mistaken, a kid had just slowly walked past the front of the Range Rover.
So, the incident had already happened, and there was no avoiding it.
Lowering the car window, Natalie pursed her lips and slightly curled the corners of her mouth. "Yeah, I hit your car on purpose."
Her smile was cold and provocative. Even if she did it on purpose, so what? She could afford to pay for his damages!
Gabriel's eyes narrowed, and he slightly furrowed his brows.
He asked, "So, what are you planning to do?"
His voice was hoarse and indifferent.
She did that on purpose?
Unexpected!
She looked up, her eyes indifferent and cold.
Natalie answered, "I can compensate you financially. How much do I owe you?"
In fact, if you looked into it, Natalie wasn't at fault.
But since she had already admitted it, she had no intention of going back on her word.
Gabriel paused slightly and took out his phone.
He stated, "Let's get in touch after the inspection. Did you change your number?"
"No," Natalie instinctively replied, then fell silent.
She watched Gabriel find the number and dial it directly.
"Sorry, the number you have dialed is temporarily unavailable."
Gabriel looked at her deeply, his face suddenly darkening, his gaze fixed on her.
Natalie pursed her lips, her eyes flickering.
Gabriel, whom she had blocked, was standing right in front of her, making her feel a bit complicated and awkward.
She said, "Name your price. I'll transfer the money right now."
Then she was picking up her phone, not wanting to delay even a minute.
Gabriel's voice was muffled. "I need to wait until the repairs are done to know the price. Leave a number, and I'll contact you then."
He admitted he had ulterior motives. His goal wasn't the repair fee but to get her to unblock his number!
Natalie paused and looked at Gabriel. She straightforwardly said, "You can contact my assistant, Brad."
Gabriel was silent for a moment, then put away his phone. "If you don't want to, forget it. Let's pretend this never happened."
It was clear he only wanted to discuss the solution with her personally. Natalie felt stifled, outwardly acting indifferent but inwardly grumbling. Did Gabriel think she was an irresponsible perpetrator? Did he still think she was taking advantage of him?
She didn't want to get into too much trouble. After all, it was just a bit of repair money. Once he handled this, she could block him again.
Natalie took a deep breath, her gaze coldly turning away. "Got it. I haven't changed my number."
With that, she was about to start the car and leave. She didn't want to stay with him for even a minute! But Gabriel had no intention of leaving. He stared at her for a few seconds, saying nothing.
He suddenly bent down, looking at Natalie in the driver's seat. His strong hand gripped her steering wheel, his long, clean fingers like a work of art.
Gabriel's move was too sudden, and Natalie was stunned. Before she could react, she heard Gabriel's sexy, husky voice in her ear. "Natalie, you won't forget, right?"
He reminded her, not quite believing she would agree so easily. He always felt she might go back and push it off to Brad to handle.
Natalie held her breath, glaring at him angrily without hiding it. "I won't."
He was really being tactful! Wasn't he just afraid she'd renege?
Natalie immediately took out her phone, found the blocked list, unblocked him right in front of him, and then called him.
Instantly, his phone rang. The caller ID was labeled: "My Wife."
