Chapter 223 Be a Decent Person

The next day, Gabriel took Angela back to the Kensington family and then shipped her out of Rottloe overnight. No one knew where she went.

Natalie found out while she was playing golf with Kyle.

The golf course was lush and part of a private VIP club. It was super peaceful.

Kyle loved golf. Natalie hadn't seen him in ages since he started working at the National Research Institute. So, when she finally had some time, she called him out to chill.

While they were playing, Natalie couldn't get her swing right, so she just gave up and started messing around on her phone. Then she saw Kelly calling her. "I've heard a ton of rumors today. Besides Angela, there's also some gossip about you and Vincent."

Kelly even chuckled a bit.

Natalie rolled her eyes. "That counts as gossip?"

"Don't worry, nothing leaked. Someone warned them before the party ended," Kelly said with a knowing smile.

Natalie didn't bother asking who it was. It had to be either Gabriel or Vincent. Either way, it saved her the hassle.

Kelly then brought up Angela. It was weird. No one knew where Angela was. Kelly was worried. "The Kensington family is quiet now. It's hard to tell if they hate you or thank you. Even though you saved her, Angela's reputation is probably shot. Will Gabriel come after you?"

Natalie laughed coldly. "They should worry if I'll come after them."

She tossed her phone aside. She couldn't care less.

She went back to playing golf but still couldn't get the ball in the hole. It felt like the club was against her. Kyle couldn't take it anymore and came over to help. To others, it looked a bit too cozy.

Then a tall figure appeared in front of them, and the temperature seemed to drop a few degrees. Kyle and Natalie looked up. The guy in front of them was elegant and noble, with a cold, indifferent look. His gaze was icy as he stared at them.

Kyle let go and frowned. "Gabriel?"

Natalie saw him too. She squinted, remembering Kelly's words and thought, 'Is he here to settle the score?'

Behind him were three people, probably business folks. Did they come to play golf too? What a coincidence.

"Why didn't you answer my calls?" Gabriel asked Natalie in a deep voice.

Natalie paused, remembering she had blocked him after paying off his repair fee. Apparently, he didn't know yet. She slowly curled her lips and said bluntly, "I don't want to hear your voice."

A trace of panic flashed across Gabriel's usually steady face. "I apologize on Angela's behalf, Natalie."

Natalie smiled coldly. "I've heard too many apologies from the Kensington family. I'm getting tired of them. If there's nothing else, let's each do our own thing. Don't bother us."

What a buzzkill.

Gabriel's eyes darkened, his gaze sweeping over Kyle with coldness. But facing Natalie, he tried to stay calm and graceful. "Natalie, this is the Kensington family's fault. If you have any demands, you can make them."

Natalie brushed her hair back and said casually, "Are you so generous? Then how about letting the Clark family hold a major stake in the Hewston project?"

The Kensington family bought the land, so naturally, they had the major stake. If the Clark family held the major stake, it would mean giving up control and taking a huge profit from Kensington Group for nothing.

Gabriel's eyes narrowed slightly. In less than two seconds, he said, "Okay."

Natalie was stunned. So quick and decisive? What unexpected generosity. Did she ask for too little? It seemed Angela was quite valuable.

She smiled, an official and polite smile. "Then I'll have the lawyer re-sign the contract. Ms. Kensington's matter will be settled."

Gabriel looked at her with deep eyes, a bit dissatisfied with her attitude. "Then there's nothing more to say. Mr. Kensington. You should teach Ms. Kensington how to be a decent person."
