Chapter 139 The Adulterous Couple Should Die
Gabriel had caused her so much harm that her hostility towards him would not diminish in the slightest!
Nathan glanced at them with a peculiar expression, and the atmosphere became tense. Gabriel remained silent, his deep gaze fixed on her.
Her blatant arrogance and indifference made Gabriel even more aware that Natalie's hatred had been festering for a long time.
It felt terrible as if someone was squeezing his heart.
Nathan coughed and tried to ease the situation. "I think Ms. Clark has a point."
In the end, Gabriel approved of Natalie's plan.
As soon as the meeting ended, before Gabriel could leave, Brad walked in quickly. "Mr. Kensington, Kensington Group's stock is plummeting."
Natalie, who was walking at the back, heard this loud and clear.
She thought, 'Serves him right!'
Gabriel's voice was extremely cold. "Get to the point."
Brad handed over his iPad, opened the webpage, and saw the glaring red headline at the top of the search results, "Gabriel and Alyssa, those scumbags, should die!"
The headline was eye-catching and filled with undisguised hatred.
It was a netizen's real-name post, showing no fear of being investigated.
The comments and reposts were skyrocketing, enough to affect Kensington Group's stock price.
A user questioned: [This must be Ms. Clark's doing, right? The response is too fast!]
A second user joked: [Money talks!]
A third user cursed: [Scumbags, just die. Ms. Clark is awesome!]
Someone else commented: [This has to stay at the top of the trending list. I'll always support Ms. Clark. Let's start a fan club for her; we'll be her loyal supporters!]
Gabriel glanced at the comments, remained silent for a few seconds, and then looked up at Natalie, who was still talking to Nathan.
Her expression was calm, showing no signs of panic. Noticing her gaze, Natalie glanced at him briefly before looking away indifferently. She continued discussing business with Nathan as if nothing had happened.
Gabriel's voice was somewhat heavy. "Natalie."
Hearing this, Natalie smirked with a mocking smile and looked at Gabriel. "Mr. Kensington, are you calling me?"
Nathan noticed that every time they met, the atmosphere would become extremely tense! "Did you create the trending topic online?" He was almost certain.
Natalie's tone was unfriendly as she brushed her hair behind her ear.
Natalie sneered, "Yes, it was me."
She admitted it.
Gabriel's eyes grew colder, and just as he was about to speak, Natalie didn't give him the chance.
"I wanted you to experience what it's like to be cursed at." Her voice was cool, and her gaze was icy. "Mr. Kensington, you'd better keep your sister and mistress in check. If they cause me any more trouble, I'll make sure they go viral!"
She knew it was Angela who had arranged for reporters to corner Natalie before, undoubtedly for Alyssa.
Since that was the case, she would retaliate in kind.
Gabriel frowned deeply and asked, "What trouble?"
He had a bad feeling in his gut.
"Go ask them yourself. Mr. Kensington, do you think you're so smart, yet you're being played like a fool?" said she.
Since the divorce, she had no obligation to endure any longer, whether it was the Kensington family or anyone else.
Anyone who slapped her would pay tenfold! The price would be steep.
Natalie scoffed coldly and turned to Nathan, "Mr. Lewis, I have to go now. Goodbye."
"Take care, Ms. Clark," Nathan called out.
She walked away in her high heels.
Nathan's eyes shifted between them, finally resting on Gabriel. "Mr. Kensington, this is a big problem."
Nathan had known about Kensington Group's troubles during the meeting, but he remained neutral and didn't comment.
Gabriel turned his head coldly. "Get the trending topic removed immediately. Hasn't PR taken any action?"
Brad spoke reluctantly, "Mr. Kensington, the message from the platform is that it can't be removed. The main force behind this is Heggte Entertainment, and Jacob was originally sent by Yves. They've even teamed up with some foreign media companies, planning to push this issue to the end!"
The atmosphere was silent and oppressive.
Nathan paused and added, "Not only that, but the platform's system has crashed multiple times. It seems like foreign hackers have taken control, and they can't even trace the hackers, making it impossible to remove the topic directly. Mr. Kensington, I've already found out that the person who bribed reporters to corner Ms. Clark was your sister. I suggest you admit defeat and apologize."
They were well-prepared, and Kensington Group had clearly lost the initiative.
Nathan couldn't help but think, 'We'd better never underestimate a woman, especially a beautiful and capable one.'
Gabriel's eyes were cold and dark. He glanced at Brad and then walked out. "Get Angela over here!"
