Chapter 435 I Agreed
In the dim light of the night, no one noticed.
The moment she pushed him back into the banquet hall, his expression returned to normal: cold, aloof, and unapproachable.
His demeanor exuded a chilling aura.
He turned his head towards Natalie, his voice steady but suppressed, carrying an imposing presence with gentle eyes.
"It's okay, I can keep waiting."
Even if there was no hope, he wouldn't give up.
Natalie ignored his words, rolled her eyes at him, and continued walking forward.
Everyone watched their interactions and the distance between them, thinking they made a perfect couple.
It was clear they had reconciled, and their relationship seemed good.
People speculated that they were close to remarrying.
With Kensington Group and Clark Group joining forces, their position in the business world seemed unshakable!
The banquet was coming to an end.
Natalie followed Ulysses, saying goodbye to each guest.
When they reached Gabriel, he deliberately lagged.
Ulysses smiled at him, "Go home and rest well, take care of yourself."
His words were full of concern.
Natalie glanced at Ulysses, feeling something was off.
Gabriel nodded with a smile, "See you tomorrow then."
"Alright!"
After seeing Gabriel off, Natalie looked at Ulysses in surprise.
"Dad, why did you make plans with him tomorrow?"
Ulysses patted her hand, his eyes full of anticipation.
"He arranged a twenty-day world tour for my birthday."
In twenty days, he could take the time to travel, something he had long wanted to do.
Natalie frowned.
"You're going alone?"
"Of course not, you're coming too!"
Ulysses looked at her, his gaze serious, "You don't want to go, do you?"
That look said if she dared refuse, he would be furious.
Did she think she was the most precious child of the Clark family?
No, Starshadow was!
Natalie smiled politely, "Of course not, I just think it's a bit sudden."
Ulysses chuckled, "Surprises are always sudden. I'm very pleased with Gabriel's gift. He put a lot of thought into it, so I agreed!"
Why did Natalie feel he had ulterior motives?
"But I have company matters to handle." Natalie hesitated.
"Leave it to Victor. If he can't manage, give it to Yves. Whatever losses he incurs, he can cover them!"
Ulysses spoke casually, determined that nothing would ruin his plans.
Yves, who happened to be walking by, paused and widened his eyes.
What did he mean by covering losses? Wasn't he his biological son?
Natalie had no choice but to agree.
Fine, she would treat it as a free vacation.
Yves, unwilling to be left out, followed, "Dad, I want to go too!"
Ulysses glared at him, "Get lost."
"Don't let Natalie go. I'm the best at eating, drinking, and having fun!" Yves tried to prove himself.
How could they leave him out of such a trip?
Wouldn't it be great to go out and have fun?
Why should he stay and watch over the company for Natalie?
Ulysses' face turned pale with anger, clutching his chest, "Don't make me lose my temper on such a good day!"
His words were highly intimidating.
Yves shuddered, not daring to argue, and quickly fled.
Back at the Clark Villa.
Natalie finally felt comfortable and relaxed.
After playing with Starshadow for a while, she went to take a bath and put on a face mask.
After freshening up, she came out and saw Starshadow lying on the bed, playing by himself, kicking his little legs happily.
She smiled helplessly.
She suddenly thought of the trip Gabriel had arranged.
It was unexpected.
Since she had to go, she might as well make it lively.
With that in mind, she picked up the phone and dialed.
"Mr. Williams, is Mike there?"
