Chapter 159 Her Love Triangle
Nathan walked over excitedly, beaming with energy.
"Natalie, we've decided to hold a press conference tomorrow to announce this great news. We're leading the world!" said he.
Natalie thought the same. It was better to act quickly. She smiled, her mood lifted by the excitement. It was as if she knew nothing about what had just happened moments ago.
Natalie said, "Alright, I'll be there on time."
"Sunner, shall we attend together?" Nathan asked eagerly.
Kyle's name could even elevate this project to the top of the world. Kyle shook his head in refusal, his attitude clear.
Nathan was slightly disappointed but knew better than to push such a big shot!
Gabriel's deep eyes were fixed on Natalie's arm, but he didn't seem very excited.
His emotions were a bit off. But Natalie didn't care.
Gabriel inquired, "Is your wound okay? Should we postpone the press conference?"
Gabriel looked at her, his breathing suddenly slowing.
Natalie raised an eyebrow at him, her lips curling into a cold smile.
"I'm not dying anytime soon. Thanks for your concern, Mr. Kensington," she replied.
She thought, 'He should stop pretending! It is ridiculous!'
She glanced at Kyle and asked, "Shall we go home?"
Kyle responded, draping his coat over her and patiently buttoning it up. Though the coat was big, it looked cute and playful on her.
This scene made Nathan's heart race.
How could Kyle's hands, which created countless technological miracles, be used to button a coat?
Gabriel, stung by Natalie's cold and distant words, felt a pang in his heart.
His expression turned sour, and seeing Kyle and Natalie so close only added to his gloom.
Upon hearing them talk about going home together, he began to wonder what exactly the relationship between Kyle and Natalie was. A subtle chill crept into his heart.
He suddenly asked, surprising even Nathan, "Do you need me to give you a ride separately?"
Nathan thought, 'So is Gabriel offering to be a driver?'
He found it unbelievable.
Natalie rolled her eyes at him and then answered, "You're not going our way."
Clearly, she was closer to Kyle!
Gabriel's face instantly turned grim.
Natalie and Kyle decisively left, disappearing from his sight, leaving Gabriel too angry to speak! His face was livid!
Nathan couldn't help but stifle a laugh. He already had the answer to his earlier question.
Apparently, Gabriel's concern for Natalie betrayed his declaration that he hadn't fallen in love with Natalie. Never had it occurred to Nathan that one day Gabriel would act so humble in front of a woman,.
Nathan saw through it but didn't say anything.
Nathan restrained his smile and remarked casually, "They're probably living together, right?"
He deliberately twisted the knife in Gabriel's heart!
Gabriel couldn't stand it for another second! He snorted coldly, his face dark as he walked away. He had been through enough that night.
As soon as Natalie got home, she felt a bit tired. She lay down on the bed and immediately fell asleep.
The next morning, the glaring light outside filtered through the sheer curtains, and Natalie was reluctant to open her eyes.
But the phone ringing woke her up completely.
She saw it was a call from Mia.
She sighed, wondering why her friends just cannot understand the joy of sleeping in.
She answered the call, her voice a bit lazy and hoarse. "Mia, what's up?"
Mia said, "Rumors are flying, saying you are Dominic's sugar mommy. How come you still have the mood to sleep?"
"What? Dominic's sugar mommy?" Natalie widened her eyes.
They had just met for the first time yesterday!
Mia laughed, adding fuel to the fire. "Yesterday's video of Dominic's speech was edited, and with Yves, your love triangle is almost a novel now. Guess who did it?"
Natalie rubbed her forehead in frustration. Did she even need to guess?
The most likely troublemaker last night was Skylar!
Natalie thought, 'That ugly witch is the heiress of Gemini Entertainment. Spreading rumors online is just a piece of cake for her. She just wants to ruin my reputation.'
Natalie said, "Skylar, right?"
Mia answered, "Congratulations, you got it."
Natalie jumped out of bed in anger, sneering coldly, "Today is my big day to make a fortune. How dare she mess with me? I'll make her pay the price!"
She wouldn't be polite to anyone blocking her from making money!
