"Ms. Clark, NovaTech Group bailed Hannah out. She's now quietly serving as Vice President there. Layla's already been sent back to her country."
Hannah was out? Natalie raised an eyebrow, not too surprised about Layla. The Walker family's issues were manageable, and with NovaTech Group's resources, this was a minor hiccup. After all, Hannah's actions weren't unforgivable.
Closing the photo album, Natalie's eyes gleamed. "How's the acquisition of NovaTech Group going?" she asked.
Aaron paused before reporting, "It's going smoothly. NovaTech Group's cash flow is almost completely dried up. If no new funds come in, they'll declare bankruptcy in less than a month."
Natalie smiled with satisfaction. "You're doing great," she said. The acquisition of NovaTech Group was harmless and could even be leveraged to create a new brand advantage.
Suddenly, her phone rang. It was Jacob. She answered.
"Ms. Clark, Clark Group's product needs a spokesperson. I have a recommendation. Would you consider it?" Jacob asked.
Natalie's eyes lit up. Jacob rarely recommended anyone. Who could it be? She was curious. "Who?" she asked.
"Dominic. He has a pure look and a strong fan base. He's now one of my artists, and I should give him a welcome gift. Would you consider it?" Jacob replied.
Natalie raised an eyebrow, remembering she had only met Dominic once before, which led to him being falsely accused. But he never made any statements that could be easily misunderstood, nor did he use her popularity to create a buzz. He was indeed not annoying. Thinking about it now, she felt a bit guilty.
She replied, "Alright, it's him."
Natalie made the decision without hesitation. Dominic was already on her shortlist.
Jacob laughed. "Ms. Clark, were you waiting for me to bring it up?" He hinted at something more.
Natalie cursed silently and retorted with a cold laugh, "Jacob, with such a rich inner life, you might as well become a screenwriter." Then she hung up on him.
She put down her phone and looked at Aaron. "The spokesperson will be Dominic. Contact the legal department to draft the contract," she ordered.
Aaron nodded, unable to suppress a smile. "The netizens will surely imagine more intimate interactions between you two this time. Looks like this product will definitely go viral."
Natalie squinted her eyes, giving him a meaningful look.
Aaron immediately took a serious tone. "Ms. Clark, you should attend the press conference. Avoiding it would only lead to more speculation."
Natalie nodded in agreement.
A few days later, Clark Group officially announced the spokesperson online, causing a huge stir and a surge in popularity. Natalie and Dominic's supporters even formed a combined fan group.
After the poster featuring Dominic wearing the men's bracelet was unveiled, two million units of the product were pre-ordered on the very first day, shattering historical records. Soon after, Natalie and Dominic's names dominated the top trending searches. Additionally, Clark Group's stock price continued to soar.
Coincidentally, NovaTech Group launched a series of women's bracelets, with Hannah as the spokesperson. She was trying to capitalize on her remaining value. Not only that, but she also scheduled the press conference at the same time and place as Clark Group, even booking the adjacent conference hall.
When Natalie learned about this, she remained silent for a moment. Aaron inquired, "Ms. Clark, should I contact the hotel to have them reject NovaTech Group's request? Hannah is clearly trying to ride on Clark Group's popularity to make a comeback." His tone was stiff.
Natalie smiled, her smile cold. "No need. There's still one day left. Go find one girl; she will handle Hannah."
