Chapter 3 Alyssa's Acting
Gabriel's eyes darkened, his expression gloomy. "Natalie!"
"What are you doing?" His voice was cold.
He came so quickly. Did he really fear her harming Alyssa?
Alyssa pouted, looking panicked. Tears suddenly filled her eyes as she covered her face and looked behind Natalie, defending herself loudly.
"I really didn't do anything. Natalie, you misunderstood me."
Has Natalie gone crazy?
She actually dared to hit Alyssa in front of Gabriel?
Natalie sneered. "There's no need to pretend. I know it was you."
Her gaze carried a chilling coldness as she walked in front of Alyssa, took out the printed photo of Gabriel that Alyssa had sent to Natalie's phone from her bag, and tossed it in front of them.
Gabriel looked at the photo, momentarily shocked and confused. Alyssa's face also turned pale instantly.
He had been busy all day yesterday and couldn't help but take a nap while visiting Alyssa at the hospital. This photo was clearly taken of him during that time.
And at that time, there was only Alyssa with him.
Gabriel knew exactly who took this photo. Alyssa wanted to upset Natalie, but ended up harming herself instead.
How could her miserable and innocent image be maintained now?
In the past, Natalie would still consider Gabriel, but now, there was no need for that anymore.
Natalie smirked calmly, her voice surprisingly cold.
"I said I came to settle the score. This is what you owe me. Alyssa, the one who ruins other people's families is the mistress. And that person is you. Are you satisfied now? I wish you success."
Gabriel understood how this photo ended up on Natalie's phone. His chest felt tight, and his expression turned cold and complex.
Looking at Alyssa's pale face, Gabriel's expression became icy, his eyes filled with a chilling coldness.
Alyssa's heart trembled. She nervously tried to explain, "Gabriel, Natalie misunderstood. I really didn't do anything. I didn't take those photos, she must have had someone take them to frame me!"
Gabriel furrowed his brow. Alyssa, fragilely sobbing, grabbed his sleeve cautiously.
"Gabriel, I can apologize to Natalie. If it's because of the blood donation that I've affected your relationship, then you shouldn't go to Natalie anymore. I really didn't know about the photos, I can swear in Oscar's name."
Upon hearing the name Oscar Wilson, Gabriel's brow slightly twitched. Thinking of the dying request from a comrade-in-arms who braved life and death together with him, Gabriel's gloomy expression softened slightly. "Natalie was too emotional just now. She shouldn't have slapped you. Do you need a doctor to come and treat your face?"
Alyssa covered the half of her face that Natalie had struck and shook her head. "It's alright."
Gabriel nodded, looking at Natalie beside them. Her face carried a mocking and indifferent expression, which puzzled Gabriel.
"You divorced just because of this? Forget it, you should donate blood first." Gabriel wanted to clarify, but felt it was not the appropriate occasion.
An irrelevant photo couldn't prove anything. Alyssa's well-being was what mattered. Gabriel could explain the photo situation later to Natalie, afraid that someone else was secretly taking pictures.
Alyssa breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that she had escaped a disaster and that Gabriel had chosen her.
Natalie had lost again!
Natalie had anticipated this outcome long ago. Alyssa's acting skills were truly professional. Natalie couldn't be bothered to expose Alyssa, let alone get entangled with them. She glanced at the doctor beside her and asked calmly.
"Are you sure she needs a blood transfusion?"
The doctor paused for a moment, receiving Alyssa's hint, and hastily nodded under Gabriel's gaze. "Yes, Ms. Davis just had a serious loss of blood from falling down and needs a blood transfusion."
"Then hurry up." Gabriel commanded coldly.
"Yes." The doctor awkwardly went to prepare.
From an angle where others couldn't see, Alyssa flashed a triumphant smile at Natalie.
"Wait a moment."
