Chapter 165 Personal Matters
Throughout the process, Nathan introduced the role and significance of the AI chip simply and clearly, naming it "Human world."
The project results, which were enough to change the course of human medical development, certainly must be accessible at the national level. This was progress for the entire world, a major milestone concerning human health!
Natalie maintained a calm smile throughout, immersed in the entire process, her eyes sparkling with hidden excitement and joy.
At this moment, she suddenly felt that the three years she spent married were simply a waste of life.
She should have devoted all her energy to her career and making money.
Until the press conference ended, the exclamations and applause in the venue were endless, and many experts and reporters expressed their desire to find more surprises.
Helplessly, Nathan had to extend the press conference by an additional hour and handle it alone .
Natalie saw that things on this side were about to be over. After Aaron sent over the relevant documents for the acquisition of Gemini Entertainment, she knew everything was ready, just waiting for her to attend.
Immediately, she stood up, planning to leave quietly.
But before she could leave the venue, she was surrounded by reporters in the hallway. "Ms. Clark, do you have anything to say?"
Natalie smiled helplessly and answered, "Mr. Lewis is speaking eloquently inside; you should be interviewing him."
Seeing her lack of pretense, the reporters also relaxed.
One reporter asked," Ms. Clark, do you mind if we ask some personal questions?"
Natalie raised an eyebrow, not giving a clear reply. "If it's too personal, I have the right to refuse to answer."
She continued, "A video circulating online shows Dominic saying he likes girls like you. May I ask what type of guys you like?"
This question piqued everyone's interest. The atmosphere paused, and there was a moment of silence.
Natalie's smile gradually widened. "Like you, I also admire Dominic."
She didn't give a clear answer, but at least it was an answer.
Liking and admiring, hopefully, they could tell the difference.
The reporters couldn't press further. Just as they made their way, they saw Gabriel standing not far away. His gaze was cold, his face extremely grim as he stared at Natalie among the crowd.
They didn't know Gabriel was here!
Asking this question in front of Natalie's ex-husband was indeed a bit awkward.
And Natalie's answer seemed like a slap in Gabriel's face. This indeed made people uncomfortable.
At this moment, everyone looked a bit tense.
Everyone knew Gabriel's temper.
In the journalist circle, they all knew that anyone he wanted to blacklist could suddenly disappear from the industry that very day.
Gabriel was the only man who made reporters tremble with fear.
And Natalie, as if unaware, faced their cameras with a sweet and kind smile, elegantly walking away in her high heels.
Once in the car, Aaron handed the documents to Natalie. "Five percent of Gemini Entertainment's shares came from Mr. Kensington."
Hearing this, Natalie was stunned. She had just raised her head to ask for clarification when she heard someone knocking on the car window.
It was Gabriel. He stood there, his face stern, his eyes hinting at gloom and indifference.
Natalie slowly rolled down the window, her tone indifferent. "Mr. Kensington, what's the matter?"
Gabriel stated, "I need to attend a shareholders' meeting, and my car broke down. Can you give me a ride?"
Gabriel raised his hand to look at his watch and pointed to his Range Rover, which was not far away.
Brad was squatting by the car, hesitating to drive the nail in because he felt sorry for the car.
"What did this car do wrong?" he muttered under his breath.
Natalie raised an eyebrow and chuckled nonchalantly, "We're not going the same way so that I won't take you."
With that, she was about to roll up the window, but Gabriel's hand stopped it!
He sneered, "How do you know we're not going the same way if you don't ask where I'm going?"
His voice was deep, and though it was usually charming, it now carried a hint of suppressed anger.
Natalie was slightly impatient. She thought, 'Couldn't he tell I was refusing? Does he have a problem with comprehension?'
She gently raised her eyes, and the words from her alluring lips were the coldest. "I don't need to ask. As long as it's where you're going, I won't go."
