Chapter 104 This Pretentious Guy
Blair wants to ruin Natalie's reputation, making it impossible for her to stay at Clark Group.
Natalie thought, 'Does he think I will eventually be willing to settle for a small company under Kensington Group? Where does he get the nerve to say these things?'
She sneered, "Mr. Kensington, I can't afford the Kensington family's food. You'd better save it for the dogs."
"Natalie, don't get on my bad side!" Blair threatened. How could she be so ungrateful? The smile on Natalie's face faded slightly. "Mr. Kensington, just don't regret it later."
She was very interested in seeing Blair beating his chest in remorse.
Since he had made things so absolute, she did not need to hold back anymore.
After hanging up the phone, Natalie calmly called Victor.
"Victor, when is Dad coming back?" she asked.
Victor chuckled, "You miss him? He will be back tomorrow. Don't worry. I'll have someone pick you up at the Kensington Villa tomorrow."
"No need. I'll go to the airport to pick him up myself," Natalie answered.
Didn't they all think she was not presentable?
She would stand in front of people and do so with dignity!
Victor's voice carried a bit of hesitation. "But, I'm afraid it might cause a disturbance."
He was worried Natalie might get hurt again!
Natalie said, "Don't worry. I'll find a few bodyguards and arrange a few more cars."
"Since you've decided, let's do it that way. I'll make the arrangements. By the way, how is Yves doing over there?" she then asked. He was still worried Yves might not be taking good care of her.
Natalie chuckled and complained bluntly, "Yves, that pretentious guy, has made a mess of my house, yet he still had the nerve to complain that I didn't clean. Besides, his cooking is terrible..."
Yves, who came out holding Starshadow, indignantly and angrily accused her, "You spent billions of my dollars this afternoon and still call me pretentious? Natalie, I'm definitely going to deal with you today!"
Yves leaped onto the sofa, rushing towards Natalie, who quickly flipped over and said into the phone. "I have to go, Victor. I need to run."
Victor chuckled, his tense mood relaxing instantly. Looking at the darkened screen, he breathed a sigh of relief, realizing Natalie was even stronger and braver than he had imagined!
To pick up Ulysses, Natalie specially put on light makeup and chose a black dress adorned with pearls, looking both elegant and spirited.
To divert the reporters downstairs, Yves walked out confidently wearing sunglasses, instantly drawing all their attention.
Countless reporters swarmed over and questioned, "Yves, why are you here? Is this your apartment, too?"
One reporter added, "Yves, is the rumor about you and Natalie true? Are you living together?"
Another reporter chimed in, "Are you really dating?"
The news of Yves and Natalie secretly living together was much more sensational than any of Natalie's scandals, so everyone kept pressing for answers.
Meanwhile, Natalie left through another exit, wearing a baseball cap and mask, and got into the car sent by Victor.
It was Aaron who came to pick her up.
In the car, she took off her coat and even had the mood to touch up her makeup.
Aaron said, "Ms. Clark, seeing you're okay, we're finally relieved."
Natalie smiled, feeling touched. Although they hadn't worked together for long, their mutual trust made them feel close to each other.
She stated, "Aaron, I bought some gifts and plan to distribute them during the anniversary celebration. The items are in the merchant's warehouse; I'll give you the address later so you can arrange the distribution."
"Okay, Ms. Clark." Aaron thought they were just some small gifts, but he didn't realize they were worth billions.
At the airport, Natalie got out of the car and went straight to the VIP exit to wait while Aaron went to arrange the security details.
"Natalie!"
Hearing a familiar voice, Natalie turned to see Ulysses waving at her with a white baseball cap on. He was dressed in beige casual wear and looked much younger.
Natalie's eyes lit up slightly, and she immediately ran towards him. Ulysses picked her up and spun her around a few times, laughing heartily. "Our precious baby, you've gotten so thin."
She could only smile helplessly and teased, "Yves keeps saying I'm fat. How am I thin?"
"Don't listen to his nonsense." Ulysses looked his precious daughter up and down, increasingly satisfied, but remembering the recent troubles, he was also quite angry.
"The Kensington family are all a bunch of bastards," he added.
