Chapter 354 Using My Money to Buy You a Gift

Natalie curled her lips and glanced at Rex.

"We don't mean to interrupt your bachelor party, but he'll leave once he gets his money."

Rex chuckled lightly, just about to speak, when Donna interrupted him, suppressing her anger.

"Mr. Ingram, although we've had some unpleasantness, could you please consider what kind of occasion this is? My fiancé is with the Turner Group, and his friends are all prominent figures. If you ruin our wedding, do you think you'll get away with it?"

This was a blatant threat.

She was implying that Rex couldn't afford to offend anyone present.

Natalie raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised. Donna only looked demure, didn't she?

Even Vincent was shocked by Donna's attitude.

She usually didn't even dare to speak loudly.

The surrounding noise completely died down.

Someone had even turned off the music.

Rex heard Donna's threat and not only felt no fear but instead curled his lips in mockery.

"Threaten me? You always thought I was a poor adventurer, so you ran off with my money? Just to snag a rich guy?"

"Shut up!"

"What did you say?"

Donna and Vincent spoke simultaneously.

One was anxious and panicked, the other surprised.

Donna quickly grabbed Vincent's arm, "Vincent, don't believe him. He's a liar. I don't even know him. We've been through so much to be together. The most important thing is mutual trust."

Vincent's tightly furrowed brows slightly relaxed, seemingly moved by Donna's words.

But Rex's laughter grew even more arrogant and unrestrained, extremely angry.

"Mr. Turner, I advise you not to believe her. If you do, you'll end up like me, deceived!"

Vincent's expression turned extremely ugly.

On one side was the demure and quiet Donna, whom he had pursued for a long time.

On the other side was Rex, brought by Natalie.

His rational mind told him not to believe Rex, but his intuition told him something was wrong.

He patted Donna's hand, looked at Rex, his eyes dark and his voice cold.

"You'll be responsible for what you say. If you dare to slander my fiancée, no matter who you're with, I won't let you off!"

As Vincent said this, he glanced at Natalie, who was watching coldly from the side.

Rex chuckled lightly and spoke straightforwardly.

"Donna bought you gifts with my money while we were dating. A tie clip that costs ten thousand dollars. Did she tell you she earned it through work-study?"

Without any emotion, Rex just wanted to state the facts and expose Donna's true nature.

Vincent suddenly looked at him sharply, his expression tense.

This was the truth.

Donna suddenly looked up in shock. "Shut up! Vincent, don't believe him. Don't listen anymore. Can we just kick him out?"

Vincent didn't speak, but it was clear he was very angry.

Natalie couldn't help but chuckle lightly, her voice cold.

"Feeling guilty? Can't even bear to listen?"

Donna's expression turned pale. When she looked up and met Natalie's gaze, it was as if she saw a sharp blade in her eyes, glinting coldly.

She hurriedly looked away.

Rex slowly said, "Don't worry. If you don't believe me, you can check. The card used at the time was mine!"

"Moreover, she bought you more than ten thousand dollars' worth of gifts over time—scarves, cups, clothes, all with records."

"While I was away for work, she withdrew all the cash from my card. There were sixty thousand dollars in it at the time."

"She thought that was all I had. After taking the money, she broke up with me."
