Chapter 25 She's Different

Although they came from different circles, they had some connections between them, so Leo and Charlie also knew each other.

Charlie saw Leo and noticed Gabriel behind him. He raised his glass to greet them, "What a coincidence, Mr. Dixon."

Leo saw Natalie, Kelly, and Charlie sitting together and understood that they were friends. He thought for a moment, then pulled Gabriel to sit with them and said, "Let's play a round together. Mr. Walker, I hope you don't mind?"

Charlie didn't respond immediately. He turned to Natalie and asked, "My queen, do you mind?"

Natalie stood up indifferently and said, "Do as you please, I'm going downstairs to listen to the band."
Kelly immediately stood up and said, "Let's go, it's a bit messy here. Some people are really annoying."

Mia immediately grabbed three bottles of wine and said, "I'm going too!"

Gabriel waited for Natalie and Charlie to walk away before looking at Charlie. He asked, "Mr. Walker, what is your relationship with Natalie?"

Charlie smirked and said, "We are friends."

"A person like her can become your friend? Have you also been deceived by her..." Leo didn't finish his sentence before Gabriel interrupted him.

"Leo."

Charlie's gaze turned cold. He looked at Leo and said, "What kind of person is she? Mr. Dixon, do you understand her?"

"I..." Leo was questioned and couldn't speak. Seeing that even Gabriel wasn't helping, he felt a bit frustrated. He felt it wasn't appropriate to talk about Natalie's bad behavior to Charlie.

Suddenly, loud music came from downstairs, and the whole bar atmosphere became lively.

The familiar melody started playing. "The Maniacs" were performing for the first time in three years. Their appearance immediately excited the audience. Everyone cheered and looked up at the people on stage as the music rocked.

Leo sighed in surprise and said, "Didn't The Maniacs stop performing? How come they are performing here? I heard there was a show that offered them a lot of money, but they didn't agree. And now they're performing at this bar?"

"The Maniacs" was a three-member band, but today only two of them came. Even without some members, their performance was enough to stir up people's passion.

Kelly screamed and shouted from the stage, unaware that Mia had already taken Natalie towards the backstage.

"In three minutes, this song will be over. Andrew went for an appendectomy today, so he didn't come. The performance needs a violin accompaniment at the end, we can't be without a violinist. There are no other options today, you go!"

Natalie asked in shock, "Me?"

"Only you have worked with them before, of course, it's you who should go. Do you want them to embarrass themselves? They came here for you, don't you want to relive the past feeling?"

The music on the stage was deafening. The familiar melody awakened Natalie's past memories. Natalie smiled and said, "Alright, I'll go."

The audience screamed on the stage, swaying to the rhythm. Everyone was immersed in this passionate celebration.

No one noticed that Natalie held a violin in her left hand, and with her right hand holding her dress lightly, she walked onto the stage.

The lights suddenly dimmed, leaving only a beam of light shining onto the stage.
Michael and John in the band were pleasantly surprised. Bassist Michael took on the task of controlling the rhythm with great harmony. The most iconic aspect of this music was the collaboration between the bass and the violin, hailed as a masterpiece in the music industry. If the violinist's skills were not enough, the song would lose its soul.

Michael played excitedly. After a few major scales, he successfully ignited everyone's emotions.

In the next second, the delicate sound of the violin rang out. As the bass diminished, the sound of the violin became more bold and deep. The audience watched in astonishment as a calm and confident woman took the stage. Her performance skills were superb, with precise tones that perfectly matched her unique style.

As the audience gradually immersed themselves in the music, the sound of the bass resounded again, blending perfectly with the violin. The performance instantly became full of passion. When the two-minute ensemble ended, the screams from the audience became even more intense.
Gabriel on the second floor watched this scene in a daze.
