Chapter 72 You Are Mine

Displayed on the screen was an image of Yohan, a mere seventeen years old, accepting an award in Resland. The prestigious Smilan Prize in the industry was his, making him a highly esteemed scientist in the field of physics. His genius was coveted by numerous countries. In the photograph, he appeared pure and vibrant, his smile warm and bright.

Avery rushed over, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Do you know him too?" she asked, her voice filled with admiration. "He's my idol, I really like him. Meeting him would fulfill my life's ambition."

Natalie paused, considering her words. Yohan was indeed a significant figure in the industry, but he was an oddity, particularly in his dislike for women getting too close. Even Ulysses, his closest confidant, feared that Yohan might remain a bachelor.

Unable to contain her enthusiasm, Avery grabbed Natalie's arm, eager to share her admiration for Yohan. "Don't you think he's handsome? More so than any celebrity. I wonder what he looks like without his clothes..."

Natalie pursed her lips, contemplating for a moment before whispering, "Average."
Yohan had a habit of wandering around shirtless at home during his younger years. Despite his decent physique, when compared to Victor and Yves, he was just average.

"How do you know?" Avery asked, her eyes wide with disbelief. "How could you possibly know him?"

Natalie hesitated, uncertain if Avery's pursuit of Yohan would bear fruit. She offered a small smile. "I have his phone number. Would you like it?"

Avery was taken aback. "Really?"

In response, Natalie pulled out her phone and initiated a video call to Yohan. Due to the time difference, he appeared on the screen disheveled, as if he had just woken up. Avery let out a shriek of excitement, stepping back and spinning in place.

"Natalie, what's going on? I've been too busy lately to contact you lately," Yohan's voice came through the phone.

Natalie offered a small smile. "It's nothing, I just wanted to see you. I have a friend who's a big fan. Could you give her an autograph?"

Yohan hesitated for a moment before reluctantly nodding. "Alright, just this once."

Natalie ended the call, satisfied. Watching Avery's happy expression, she couldn't help but smile. "I'll give you his autograph once I get it."

Avery, struggling to contain her excitement, took Natalie's hand. "I saw Yohan sleeping," she said, her voice filled with awe. "Can you give me his phone number? I want to save it."

Avery clasped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "In return, what do you want? Would you like this little Starshadow?" She pointed to the small Starshadow in Natalie's arms, her eyes filled with hope and fear, afraid of being rejected.

Natalie was stunned, looking up in surprise. "Would you give it to me? Would Nathan agree?"

"Of course, I would," Avery replied excitedly. "It's mine, not Nathan's. He said it himself."

"Alright, it's a deal!" Natalie had always admired the little Starshadow. She had been too shy to ask Avery for it, but now it was hers.

Natalie handed over Yohan's phone number, and Avery couldn't help but rush over to hug her, planting several kisses on her cheek. "Natalie, you're amazing! I really like you!"

The little Starshadow pushed Avery's hand off Natalie's arm, grumbling, "Don't touch my fair lady, she's mine!"

Natalie smiled and patted the little Starshadow's head. "From now on, you're mine." The little Starshadow happily shrugged its shoulders. "I like you. Take me home!"

"Does it need to be charged?" Natalie asked, wanting to take the best care of her new companion.

Avery, too engrossed in her phone to explain, waved her hand dismissively. "You can ask it, it knows everything."

Natalie stroked the furry back of the little Starshadow, asking it in surprise, "Really? Do you know everything?"

The little Starshadow proudly straightened its back, rubbing against her palm. "Of course. I know everything."
