Chapter 305 I Told You to Let Go
Gabriel actually called to ask where she was?
This number was one she had never seen before.
Natalie didn't rush to hang up. She smirked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Didn't Mrs. Kensington tell you where I am?"
Wendy probably couldn't wait to spill the beans to Gabriel, likely adding a bunch of exaggerated and false details.
Whatever.
There was a moment of silence on the line. Just as Natalie was about to hang up, he suddenly spoke, trying hard to keep his cool. "Don't stay out too long, and drink less."
Natalie was taken aback. She was stunned for a moment, and the angry words she had ready couldn't come out.
Her chest felt heavy, like a giant stone was pressing down on it.
She frowned and snapped back, "It's none of your business."
Then she hung up.
Gabriel never played by the rules!
Mia swirled the wine in her glass, frowning. "What's Gabriel up to? Does he really want to make up with you?"
Kelly pouted. "Hard to say. Natalie isn't the same as before. Has he really changed, or is he up to something?"
Mia thought for a moment. "With the Kensington family's money, there's nothing to gain, but Gabriel is another story."
Kelly shook her head and grabbed Natalie's arm. "You have to stay strong. Don't fall for it again. Whatever he wants, we don't want him!"
Natalie nodded firmly. "Of course."
She wasn't that foolish.
After a while of drinking, Natalie was pretty tipsy, thanks to Kelly. Her head felt heavy and drowsy.
Luckily, Mia was still sober enough to find someone to get everyone home.
Only Rance and Dominic were left, and they had barely touched any alcohol.
Mia, holding the drunken Kelly, pointed at Natalie. "I've contacted Yves. He'll be here soon. You guys take her to the door."
Rance and Dominic didn't dare slack off. One supported Natalie, and the other carried her backpack, carefully leading her out.
Before they reached the door, a cold, unfamiliar voice came from the lobby. "Let go."
Rance paused and turned to see Gabriel, looking grim.
Who knew how long he had been waiting there?
Gabriel quickly approached, looking at the drunken and dazed Natalie in his arms, his emotions complicated.
Rance, still trying to make a name for himself in the modeling world with Mia, had no way to compete with Gabriel.
No matter how much he didn't want to hand over Natalie, he had to let go.
But he was very reluctant.
His expression was stiff and cold. "Mr. Kensington, Yves will be here soon."
He didn't want to just let Gabriel take Natalie away.
"I said let go." Gabriel's voice was ice-cold, not wanting to waste another word.
His icy gaze swept over Rance's face, carrying an air of unmatched nobility and elegance—just a look could make one feel the vast difference in status.
Rance's face stiffened, and Dominic stepped forward. "Rance, let Ms. Clark sit on the sofa and wait."
He pointed to the reception sofa in the lobby.
Rance paused, just about to move, when a gust of wind hit, and his arms were suddenly empty. He was pushed by a strong force, almost losing his balance. He stepped back, his face pale, looking at Gabriel in shock.
