Chapter 449 You Are Not Good-Looking
Robert glanced at her and chuckled, "So, all those ways to drive Ian nuts were your ideas?"
Natalie's eyes sparkled with mischief. "His temper's too weird. Someone's gotta keep him in check."
Robert nodded in agreement.
As soon as they stepped out the door, Jagger came bounding up to them.
"Ms. Clark, you're finally out! Mr. Kensington's been worried that you haven't eaten yet. He's so concerned about you. A thoughtful, warm, and wealthy man like him is a rare find."
Natalie shot him a warning look, her gaze light but sharp.
"Then let him go extinct!"
Jagger shrank back.
He glanced at Robert, cleared his throat, and stepped between Natalie and Robert, separating them.
The three of them walked together, with the two tall, striking figures on either side and the short, chubby Jagger in the middle, ruining the picturesque scene without realizing it.
He bounced around like a gopher.
"Mr. Williams, I didn't expect to see you here! Ms. Clark is here to see her teacher, right? What a coincidence!"
Robert walked on in silence, not intending to respond.
Natalie swore to herself that she would never bring Jagger along again.
She turned to admire the scenery, ignoring Jagger's chatter.
Jagger's confidence took another hit.
His eyes darted around, and he suddenly spotted Elijah behind them. He waved his chubby arm.
"Elijah, take a picture of us! It's not every day Ms. Clark visits, we should capture the moment."
Elijah squinted at Natalie.
Natalie hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
"Sure, let's take a picture."
Elijah calmly took out his phone.
Robert didn't move away, his cool demeanor making him seem aloof.
He was about to leave when Natalie called out to him.
"Mr. Williams, join us?"
Robert looked down for a moment, then agreed with a slight nod.
He stepped closer to her.
Jagger's face stiffened for a moment, but he quickly regained his confidence.
Natalie was just being polite by inviting Robert, he told himself.
He happily raised his hands above his head, forming a heart shape, his face beaming with genuine joy.
Being in a photo with Natalie was a rare honor.
Robert stood apart, his noble and imposing presence undiminished.
He showed no expression, standing there as if posing for the media with his usual calm and dignified air.
Elijah held up the phone but didn't press the button.
Jagger's arms began to tremble.
His arms were getting tired.
"Elijah, are you done yet?"
Elijah lowered the phone.
"It doesn't look good."
"What do you mean it doesn't look good? How can you say that in front of Ms. Clark? Don't you know how beautiful she is?" Jagger lectured Elijah earnestly.
Elijah squinted. "You don't look good."
The atmosphere froze instantly.
Jagger, hands on his hips, was furious and humiliated. "I don't believe it!"
He stormed over to confront Elijah.
But before he could reach him, Elijah suddenly raised the phone, the flash went off, and the picture was taken.
Elijah calmly lowered the phone.
"Now it looks good."
He walked past Jagger and handed the phone to Natalie.
Natalie took it, glanced at the photo, and laughed.
