Chapter 126 The Ex-Husband Died

Natalie smiled and leaned in. "Kyle, can you do me a favor? Consider it a gift."

"Tell me then," he asked.

"I have a project related to artificial intelligence. You're a top expert. Can you help me follow up on it?" Natalie asked brazenly.

Kyle was incredibly capable, and assigning him to this project was indeed overkill. But he was her brother, so she could boldly make the request!

Kyle nodded and replied, "Sure, I have a month off. Is that enough?"

"Definitely enough!" she responded.

Natalie took the card from his hand and waved it around. "I'll take this too. Thanks, Kyle!"

Kyle was helpless.

Not far away, two long shadows walked side by side behind them. They had a heavy task tonight and were waiting for a mysterious expert personally.

Leo thought, 'Why hasn't Brad sent the photos yet?'

Leo looked at the woman and nudged Gabriel beside him. "Isn't that Natalie?"

Beside her was a man they had never seen before. He was calm and refined, with a cold demeanor. He didn't look like a businessman, but he was clearly not an ordinary person.

Following his gaze, they saw Natalie's profile.

She had slightly wavy long hair, wore a black spaghetti strap dress, and elegant high heels. She looked at the unfamiliar man beside her with a lazy, coquettish smile.

Not far away, Gabriel instinctively walked over, just in time to hear their conversation and her coquettish voice.

"Why did you suddenly get divorced?" Kyle asked.

"Because he died," Natalie said nonchalantly.

"I see." Kyle nodded emotionlessly.

Gabriel and Leo's steps faltered, their bodies suddenly stiffening.

Gabriel, who had been declared dead, was helpless. He stared at Natalie's back for a long time, but she showed no reaction.

Leo chuckled and patted his shoulder, "Stop staring. You're supposed to be dead."

The photos arrived. Looking down, he was about to remind Gabriel of their urgent task.

But when he saw the photo, he froze. The person in the photo was the man beside Natalie!

Leo exclaimed, and Gabriel frowned at him, then looked at the photo.

He was equally shocked!

Hearing the noise, Natalie turned her head. Seeing them, she frowned slightly. She was really unlucky, always running into people she didn't want to see!

Leo didn't expect to meet such a powerful figure so easily.

Leo walked up, forcing a smile. "What a coincidence, Mrs. Clark! Who is this gentleman?"

He looked at the man, unable to contain his excitement. He had always heard of Kyle's legendary deeds.  Kylewas exceptionally capable.

They had been waiting there in the hope of meeting the mysterious expert in the photo,, but now the man was taken away by Natalie.

Besides, they found that Natalie and the man seemed to be very familiar.

Kyle nodded silently. "Hello, my name is Sunner."

His nickname was also his other public identity.

No one had heard of it or recognized it.

Natalie looked up at Leo lazily. "How unlucky, running into annoying people everywhere!"

Deflated, Leo withdrew his hand, forcing a smile in defense.

If he told the truth, wouldn't Natalie mock him?

They hadn't even made a move and had already lost!

"It wasn't intentional to appear in front of you. We're here to meet a friend, purely a coincidence! If Mrs. Clark doesn't want to see me, I'll leave now," Leo explained.

He couldn't understand why he had to be so humble with Gabriel around.

Natalie withdrew her gaze. "Get lost then."

"Alright!" Leo, true to his word, took a few steps and then remembered Gabriel behind him.

Gabriel's eyes were cold as he stepped forward, his gaze lingering on her forehead for a few seconds. He then looked at the man beside her.

"Sunner, are you two friends?" he suddenly asked.

Kyle nodded naturally, putting his arm around Natalie's shoulder. "Of course, she's my best friend."

He never lied.

He had only three friends: his siblings.

"Let's go," Natalie said coldly, linking her arm with Kyle's as they left.

She didn't even spare Gabriel a glance.
