Chapter 332 I Can't Let Her Go

A loud bang.

The glass table in front of them, the wine bottles and glasses, shattered instantly, scattering glass shards that splashed onto the rich kid's face. Blood trickled down from the wounds on his face.

The room fell silent, the chill in the air palpable.

The rich kid was so frightened by the scene that his face turned pale, and he didn't dare to utter a word.

Because he already knew, he had said the wrong thing!

Gabriel's eyes were bloodshot, a cold intensity radiating from them. He rose to his feet, his gaze drilling down with fury.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" he snapped. "Don't you ever mention her name."

His voice was icy, heavy with suppressed anger.

He took a step forward and, without a word, kicked him. The rich kid curled up in pain, unable to move, cold sweat dripping from his forehead.

No one around dared to say a word. To be in this circle, who wouldn't watch Gabriel's mood?

"Gabriel."

Leo hurried over to stop him. "Calm down!"

As he spoke, he looked at the others. "He's had too much to drink. Leave this to me, you all go first."

Everyone agreed and left immediately, taking the half-dead rich kid with them.

The room was in disarray, leaving only Gabriel and Leo.

Gabriel struggled to control his murderous impulse, veins bulging on his forehead, his whole body tense and rigid.

Leo patted his shoulder and pushed him back into his seat.

Then he called someone to clean up a bit and set out various expensive wines again.

"I know you're here to drink, please."

Leo filled his glass and had a drink himself.

Gabriel sat there, downing a glass of wine. The spicy liquid burned his throat but gradually relaxed his whole body.

He buried his head in his knees, his shoulders trembling slightly.

"She almost died because of me, and I didn't even know."

There were so many things he didn't know, and yet he treated her that way. How desperate she must have been during those three years!

And he kept forcing her to forgive him. Natalie must hate him to death, right?

Gabriel's Adam's apple bobbed, his heart feeling like it was being squeezed by a heavy hand, the pain excruciating.

He admitted, knowing she almost died in the pool because of him, his heart completely shattered!

He hated himself immensely!

Why didn't he think about who it was when he was notified to go to the pool?

Why did he arrive late?

Why didn't he remember Natalie's face?

Why did he get the chance to marry but didn't cherish it?

But now, there was no chance to start over!

The current Natalie would never risk everything for him again.

Leo listened to his incoherent words, not understanding but knowing it was about Natalie.

He didn't dare to offend Gabriel, and seeing Gabriel's dejected and regretful look now, it was clear he had fallen for Natalie!

Gabriel drank one glass after another, his eyes gradually turning bloodshot and dazed.

Before long, he had drunk most of the wine on the table, muttering only, "Natalie, Natalie."

Leo sighed. "Do you like Natalie that much?"

What was so good about her?

Gabriel was already losing consciousness, but hearing the name "Natalie," he instinctively reacted.

"Like her? I'm crazy about her. I'd give everything for her, but she couldn't care less!"

Gabriel's voice was hoarse, choking with emotion.

He wanted to love her completely, the way Natalie had once loved him with her whole heart!

Leo stood up, "You've had too much to drink. Let me take you home."

"I want to see Natalie," he mumbled.

"Alright."

Leo said, lifting him up with effort and walking out.
