Chapter 32 The Wine Has Drugs in It
Both of them felt guilty. Suddenly, Zach's face showed a deep smile. He poured wine for Natalie.
"Ms. Clark, since we are here to discuss cooperation, I am also here in good faith. Take a look at this document. As long as you sign this document, I won't treat you unfairly."
Zach took out a document from his bag. The contents were almost identical to the one Natalie held, but the numbers were ten percent lower than what Jessica had decided.
Jessica thought for a moment and then hurriedly advised Natalie, "Natalie, what's the use of relying solely on Victor? You still need to find more backers. It's clear that Victor wants to embarrass you. He only placed you in this position and has no concern for you. What benefits do you get by following him? He's not going to marry you, you know."
Natalie wasn't interested in listening to Jessica's manipulation. Perhaps Jessica thought that she and Victor were in a romantic relationship.
"Look at what you're wearing. There are no branded logos. Did you buy them online? How do you commute to work? Do you take a taxi?"
Jessica looked down on Natalie, feeling smug. She tugged on her Chanel suit and then smiled.
"I have more experience than you, and I won't deceive you. As long as you follow Mr. Green, you won't lose out. Mr. Green has prepared a second-hand Audi for you. And in the future, with Mr. Green's help in projects, you can secure your position."
Natalie pondered quietly. Jessica thought she had convinced Natalie, so she satisfied looked at Zach and gave him a signal. Then, she pretended to be drunk and got up. "I'm going to the bathroom. You guys talk first."
As soon as Jessica left, she saw a familiar person acting suspiciously near the bathroom. She grabbed the person, "Are the things ready?"
The waiter trembled, "That medicine, it has been added to the drink."
"That's good." Jessica smiled contentedly.
The waiter bit his lip, "Ms. Cole, if I'm not mistaken, that lady should be Mr. Kensington's ex-wife, right?"
"You're not mistaken, that's her."
"She is Mr. Kensington's ex-wife. How dare Mr. Green... Isn't he afraid...?" The waiter didn't dare say it explicitly, but he's afraid of getting into trouble. He really regretted it!
"She's just his ex-wife. Now, she's relying on another man to get this position. Will Gabriel still accept her? Since she likes sleeping around, she can't sleep with Mr. Green, right?"
The waiter kept his head low, "Yes, then I'll go down now."
"Get lost. If you dare to reveal this matter, you're finished!"
Jessica walked on her high heels to the bathroom to touch up her makeup. She didn't notice the tall and strong figure standing by the corridor, freezing for a moment.
Gabriel's face turned cold and ugly. His eyes were fierce and intimidating. Then, he grabbed the waiter, who was brought over, "Which room is Natalie in?"
"Ah... Mr. Kensington?"
The people coming and going in the private club were all wealthy and influential, so the waitstaff's basic training was to recognize people. Therefore, that waitstaff immediately recognized Gabriel. In an instant, he was dumbfounded.
"Speak!"
"In Room 3888," he instinctively replied. Though he couldn't afford to provoke Zach, he definitely couldn't afford to provoke Gabriel.
Gabriel turned around, exuding a chilling aura.
Inside Room 3888.
Zach laughed repulsively and reached out to touch Natalie's hand resting on the table. However, her hand suddenly disappeared. It turned out Natalie had picked up a glass and was gently swaying it. Her long, fair fingers were like a work of art.
Zach took out a slightly worn car key from his bag and threw it onto the table. "Ms. Clark, this car is yours now."
Natalie stared at the car key for a moment. Suddenly, she coldly laughed, "Does Jessica have more things than me?"
Zach, slathered in grease, leered at her. "Ms. Clark, compared to you, Jessica can't compete in terms of appearance. After this cooperation is completed, there will be even bigger surprises waiting for you."
Natalie finally understanding how Jessica had made it this far.
"Let's have a drink to celebrate." Zach impatiently raised his glass.
The next second, Natalie's phone on the table suddenly fell to the ground. Zach bent down to pick it up like a treasured item. Natalie casually lifted her glass, lightly touching Zach's, and he eagerly drank it all in one go.
Meanwhile, Natalie's glass only just reached her lips. Under Zach's anxious gaze, she intentionally hesitated for a moment. Then, she downed the wine in one gulp. Her lips were stained with the dark red wine. The deep hue added a touch of allure to her.
Zach smiled contentedly. He lustfully gazed at Natalie's demeanor and beauty after drinking. Then, he walked over and placed the Audi car key in her hand. Tempting her, he said, "Once you sign this document, I'll give you a brand new Audi."
Natalie's face turned grim. But before she could get angry, she heard Zach let out a cry of surprise. Immediately after, he was kicked to the ground!
Then, her wrist was forcefully grabbed. A cold and solemn voice came, "There's something in the drink, and you've already had some."
