Chapter 121 A Man-Made Car Accident

If she weren't Ulysses' daughter, she'd be dead by now!

Leo's face flushed; he felt utterly powerless!

But there was nothing he could do; he was in the wrong.

"What do you want then?" He thought he must have been out of his mind to provoke Natalie before!

Natalie stared out the window, feeling impatient.

She slowly walked up to him, her voice tinged with mockery and coldness. "You're worried about your photos, right? If you're not gone from my sight in three seconds, by the fourth second, I'll make sure those photos are all over the internet!"

Leo froze, and Natalie let out a light sneer.

As soon as she finished speaking, Leo turned and ran as fast as his little legs could carry him, shouting "Don't be impulsive!" in fear.

Sure enough, he disappeared without a trace within three seconds.

Natalie sneered, utterly bored, and walked away in her high heels.

Just as she stepped out of the bar, she saw someone standing by her car.

Looking up, it was Gabriel!

He was waiting for her.

"Mr. Kensington, are you that free?" she asked.

Natalie raised an eyebrow, her red lips contrasting with the dark surroundings. They were bright and passionate, yet with a hint of coldness.

She didn't want to deal with him, couldn't he see that?

Gabriel's brows were furrowed, his dark eyes deep, his voice husky and alluring.

"Natalie, I need to talk to you about Alyssa. There's nothing between us; you misunderstood," Gabriel stated.

He thought if he explained it clearly, there would at least be less resentment between them.

At the mention of that name, Natalie frowned in extreme annoyance.

"No need. It's unnecessary," Natalie answered.

She stepped forward and pulled him away from her car. Getting into the car decisively, Natalie didn't even fasten her seatbelt before stepping on the gas.

In an instant, she realized something was wrong!

She barely touched the gas pedal, but the speed shot up to 120, highly unusual and completely uncontrollable!

The vehicle shot into the middle of the road!

It was early morning, and the streets were empty, but it was extremely dangerous.

Natalie frantically stepped on the brakes, but there was no response!

She suddenly realized the car was completely out of control! She instinctively gripped the steering wheel, but it wouldn't turn at all; the whole car was completely unresponsive!

The darkness ahead seemed to be waiting to swallow her, screaming and taunting her.

The lights around her were cold and biting, and Natalie couldn't help but shiver all over.

She had never felt death so close! She felt panic, fear, and cold sweat pouring down.

She looked up and saw a large truck suddenly appear 900 feet ahead. At that moment, her mind went blank.

Gray dust rose, swirling, accompanied by thick smoke.

Suddenly, another car rushed out and blocked her path.

Her car was pushed off course and came to an abrupt stop!

Her head slammed into the steering wheel, and the airbag didn't deploy at all; the pain was excruciating!

The pungent smell of gasoline filled her head, and the warm liquid trickled down her forehead.

"Natalie!" A man's anxiousshout came. She found it familiar.

Then, her car door was opened, and she was carried out horizontally.

It was Gabriel!

Could he be worried too?

Well, considering he saw her before the accident, if she died, he'd be in trouble.

Gabriel's warm hands seemed to tremble slightly as he touched the wound on her forehead, trying to assess the injury.

But it only made her pain worse.

The smell of blood brought Natalie back to consciousness.

Gabriel's embracemade her extremely uncomfortable.

If it were before their divorce, she would have been overjoyed to be in his arms.

Opening her eyes, she saw what looked like snowflakes floating in front of her. She struggled to get up, holding onto the car door to steady herself.

It turned out his car had blocked hers.

Otherwise, if she had hit the truck, she probably wouldn't have had the chance to open her eyes again.

His car was so badly damaged it was almost totaled.

"Thank you." Her tone was frighteningly calm.

Apart from the pain from her wound, her mind was now clear.

"You need to go to the hospital, Natalie." Gabriel's voice was somewhat anxious.

Natalie ignored him and took out her phone, calling Aaron. "Get to my location immediately. My car was tampered with, and I had an accident. Find out who did it by tomorrow morning."

She hung up after saying that.

Gabriel's gaze was filled with thinly veiled anger.

Natalie took out a check from her bag and handed it to Gabriel. "Mr. Kensington, your car is worth four million dollars. Here's ten million dollars, with six million as a thank you."

She stood under the light, the blood on her forehead congealed, her long hair slightly disheveled. She looked anything but messy, still stunningly beautiful.

It was as if she was born to be this way!

Her lips curled slightly, polite and distant.

Gabriel's gaze grew colder. He didn't reach out, his face darkening.

Natalie forcefully stuffed the check into his suit pocket, not giving him a chance to refuse.

"When I donated blood, Mr. Kensington wasn't stingy with money. This time, it's my turn. I can't be stingy!" she said.

After saying that, she left her car and walked away in her high heels.

It felt great!

Gabriel finally got a taste of his own medicine.

So her desire for revenge had been so strong all the time!

Walking under the streetlights, her shadow stretched long. Her steps were steady, showing not the least bit of fluster.

She didn't notice the flash of regret in Gabriel's eyes after she finished speaking.
