Chapter 12 Pay Back the Money
The people in the room looked at these three individuals strangely. Everyone knew about the rumors surrounding the Kensington family, but due to their power, no one dared to stir the pot and watch the show.
Contrary to the legend, could it be that Gabriel's ex-wife wasn't as innocent?
Gabriel frowned slightly, thinking that Alyssa was being extremely rude. He was about to go over and pull her away when he saw Natalie suddenly turn around, her face becoming cold.
As everyone stared in shock, Natalie pulled Alyssa by the arm and walked towards the pool.
Alyssa, in Natalie's grip, was like a weak little chicken, without even the chance to resist.
Natalie tightened her grip on Alyssa's chin and then pushed her away, causing Alyssa to scream.
After letting go, Natalie casually watched as Alyssa fell into the pool.
Alyssa's cries abruptly stopped. She struggled desperately in the water, shocked and disheveled.
Natalie withdrew her hand, her gaze carrying a cold and icy edge, her tone indifferent.
"I only admit what I've done."
Alyssa being thrown into the pool in front of everyone was a completely different feeling from when she jumped in herself. Suspicions among the crowd began to shift.
In that instant, Gabriel also started to doubt. Natalie in front of him seemed like a different person.
The pool water wasn't deep, and when Alyssa realized no one was going to help her, she tried to climb out on her own, but suddenly felt a cold sensation on her head.
A 1982 Lafite Rothschild, poured down her hair, filled the air with its rich aroma. Alyssa lost her dignity and looked up in horror.
Natalie's eyes were cold and mocking, filled with audacious ridicule. She poured half a cup of wine on Alyssa's head, feeling much better.
"This is an extra gift for you, Ms. Davis. Don't hurry to leave, I still have more presents."
Natalie disappeared from the view of the crowd. The way everyone looked at Alyssa now had an added hint of contempt.
How could she be so brazen?
Natalie remained calm and composed, while Alyssa panicked.
So, Alyssa was the one who started all the melodrama.
"Gabriel..." Alyssa's voice trembled. She cautiously looked at Gabriel.
Alyssa despised Natalie, as she stole Gabriel's attention and everyone else's as soon as she appeared.
If it wasn't for her, Alyssa wouldn't be in such a pathetic state, feeling like a joke.
Alyssa admitted that she was panicking. Now she wanted to leave as quickly as possible, because she didn't know what tricks Natalie still had up her sleeve.
Gabriel shifted his gaze. A waiter nearby went to help. Alyssa, who had experienced two close calls with drowning, trembled with fear.
"You fell in by yourself, didn't you?" Gabriel stared at Alyssa, his face turning cold.
She looked anxious. "Of course not, how could I frame Natalie? You saw it too, she's crazy and wants to retaliate against us... Gabriel, don't you trust me? Don't you trust Oscar?"
Gabriel looked at her with deep and intimidating eyes, making her tremble.
"Let me take you back first."
Alyssa relaxed a bit and was about to nod. Suddenly, someone said, "Look upstairs!"
Everyone's gaze focused on the second floor. Natalie lazily stood there, with a crocodile skin bag beside her.
She leaned against the railing, with a cigarette between her fingers, the smoke swirling around her, exuding a captivating charm that made it impossible to look away.
Alyssa's heart trembled fiercely. Immediately after, Natalie casually took out a stack of money from the bag beside her, and nonchalantly scattered it on the ground, in the water.
Money fell, one after another. Everyone was shocked by this scene.
Not satisfied, Natalie directly emptied the bag, and money fell like pieces of paper in front of Gabriel and Alyssa, scattered all over.
