Chapter 146 Teased

Natalie sneered. Did they think she was easy to fool?

Did Angela think her apology was worth anything?

Even if Angela knelt here to apologize, Natalie wouldn't spare her a glance!

Angela was stunned by Natalie's words. She paused for a moment, and her momentum instantly faltered.

She almost forgot that Natalie was now the heiress of the Clark Group, sitting in the highest position of power as the CEO. Now, Natalie could push Kensington Group into a difficult situation! She was no longer the person who could be easily bullied!

"Natalie, what kind of attitude is this? I came to apologize, and you don't have any manners?" snorted Angela.

Angela secretly gritted her teeth. Since she was already here, she could at least report back.

If Natalie didn't accept, that was her problem!

Natalie looked at the time and directly called the internal line. "Have security come up and escort Ms. Kensington out."

Angela looked shocked. Natalie added, "From now on, don't let her step foot near the Clark Group."

"Natalie, you're so ungrateful!" scoffed Angela.

Angela's face changed drastically. If she got kicked out and word got out, it would be humiliating, wouldn't it?

Blair and Gabriel would definitely think she had provoked Natalie first!

Natalie's eyes were cold. "Angela, learn how to apologize to others first."

The security guards were already in place outside. Aaron knocked and entered, looking sternly at Angela. "Ms. Kensington, please."

Angela's expression was ugly, and she glared at Natalie, gritting her teeth. Then she stomped her foot and ran out. As soon as she stepped out of the Clark Group's door, she regretted it.

How would she explain this to Blair and Gabriel when she got back?

Had she known it would end like this, she would have just endured it!

On the way back to the Kensington Villa, she was restless.

As soon as she returned to the Kensington Villa, Blair's cup was thrown at her, and she narrowly dodged it. Unfortunately, the cup shattered on the ground.

Angela called out, "Grandpa."

"You're useless and only make things worse. How dare you come back?" Blair's face was ashen.

Angela pursed her lips, planning to concoct a reason to smooth things over. "Natalie..."

Blair scolded, "Ulysses called me and said that as soon as you arrived at the Clark Group, you were sarcastic and condescending. Angela, don't you have any sense?"

Angela's face stiffened. She hadn't expected Natalie to be one step ahead and explain what had happened first!

So whatever she said, Blair naturally wouldn't believe it!

What bad luck! She had been outmaneuvered by Natalie again!

Unsurprisingly, she was punished for kneeling for the whole night.

After work, Kelly insisted on dragging Natalie to a private party.

Although she was a bit tired, she thought it had been a long time since she last went out to relax, so she agreed.

She wore a dark green spaghetti strap gown with pearls embedded in irregular edges, designed elegantly and luxuriously.

The dress made her look tall and slender, with a well-proportioned frame. She wore no jewelry on her neck, yet her swan-like neck appeared gracefully beautiful.

As soon as they entered, they attracted a lot of attention.

Kelly leaned over to Natalie's ear and joked, "See anyone you like? Just take them home."

Natalie gave her a look and said, "You're really in the mood, huh?"

"It's all about participation." Kelly stuck out her tongue. "I'll go greet the host. You can sit wherever you like."

Natalie nodded and found a quiet place to sit.

She was just about to take out her phone to check the stock market when a rich playboy walked over, his eyes flirtatious. He wore designer clothes and a watch as if afraid people wouldn't know he was wealthy.

He looked like a spoiled rich kid.

At this moment, he looked at her with a frivolous and casual gaze. "Ms. Clark, I've heard so much about you. You're even more beautiful in person than in the photos online."

Natalie glanced at him indifferently, nodded without any expression, and considered it a greeting.

She didn't know him, so there was no need to chat. Besides, his pickup line was so cliché and outdated!

The rich playboy felt embarrassed being ignored. He came here intending to cozy up to Gabriel.

At this moment, Gabriel and his friends were upstairs. When they talked about Natalie, he silently drank, looking very unhappy.

Thinking about how Natalie had recently damaged Kensington Group's reputation, Gabriel must be furious.

If he could take the opportunity to teach Natalie a lesson, he could curry favor with Gabriel. Maybe if Gabriel was pleased, he might even look after his family's business!

With this thought, he became bolder!

He stared at Natalie brazenly. "How about this? Let me buy you a drink, Ms. Clark?"

As he spoke, he held out a glass of wine to Natalie.

Natalie glanced coldly at the glass.

She had no intention of taking it.

She raised her eyes, her gaze falling on the rich playboy. "I don't drink."

She refused outright. She would not casually drink anything from someone she didn't know.

The man in front of her was annoying.

The rich playboy was visibly displeased and sneered, "Ms. Clark, now that you're a businesswoman dealing with social engagements, how can you not drink? Are you being unfriendly?"
