Chapter 149 She Is Just Bullying Others
Natalie sneered from the side, thinking, 'Today's drama is truly funny!'
But she had no interest in continuing to play along with them. Every extra second she looked at was a waste of life.
She turned to Kelly and said, "Let's go somewhere else. Seeing people I don't want to see ruins my mood."
The only person she didn't want to see was Gabriel.
Kelly understood Natalie's thoughts and already regretted bringing her here. Hearing her suggestion, she immediately nodded in agreement.
Natalie grabbed her bag, stepped into her high heels, and turned to leave. She didn't care at all about the gazes of those watching the drama.
If they wanted to watch, they could keep watching Gabriel!
Kelly went to get the car, and Natalie stood at the door waiting. She looked down at her toes. The night breeze was slightly cool, carrying a chill.
She heard heavy, familiar footsteps behind her.
Natalie didn't turn around.
"Natalie." His voice was deep and rich, extremely familiar.
Gabriel said, "Alyssa has been punished. Do you think we could be friends now?"
He walked up to Natalie, looking at her with a complex expression. It was the first time Gabriel had ever wanted to be friends with a woman.
It would be a worldwide sensation if word got out!
He had wronged her.
But at least she should give him a chance to make amends.
Now that Alyssa was no longer an obstacle or misunderstanding between them, he felt even more guilty towards Natalie after seeing Alyssa's true nature.
Hearing this, Natalie looked up, glanced at him, raised an eyebrow, and spoke sarcastically, "I'm very picky about friends, and Mr. Kensington doesn't meet my standards at all, so forget it."
Gabriel stiffened. He could hear Natalie's rejection.
She didn't want to be friends with him, and she didn't even want to greet him.
"Mr. Kensington, do you think I hate you just because of Alyssa? Without Alyssa, I should accept you and forgive you?" Natalie curled her lips into a playful smile.
Gabriel's face stiffened slightly, becoming unpleasant. He suppressed the uncomfortable feeling in his chest.
His voice was cold and deep.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
Wasn't that what she thought?
He had explained everything clearly. He had nothing to do with Alyssa.
Why did he seem even worse in her eyes? Didn't they even have a chance to reconcile?
Natalie raised an eyebrow, her lips carrying a cold, faint smile.
It was a huge irony.
She said, "Honestly, I think you're a very despicable person! In marriage, you hurt your wife to win the favor of someone else's girlfriend. How do you have the nerve to do that? To show your high moral character? Don't tell me it's because of deep friendship. What does that have to do with me?"
Natalie continued, "I was the one who donated blood, I was the one who was slandered, and I was the one who wasted three years of youth! What obligation do I have to bear all the consequences for you? Isn't it disgusting? The problem between us was never Alyssa. It was you!"
After she finished speaking, she restrained her smile, her eyes full of coldness.
He had personally killed all her passion and affection. Now, he casually explained that he had nothing to do with Alyssa and expected Natalie to be grateful and reconcile with him.
Dream on!
She turned around, not giving him another glance, and walked away in her high heels.
Gabriel stood there stiffly, feeling cold to the bone! Did he not even have the right to get close to her?
He seemed to feel that Natalie had completely escaped his control as if he could never grasp her again.
This feeling inexplicably made him panic.
Kelly's car was waiting not far away.
As soon as she got in the car, Natalie fastened her seatbelt with a blank expression.
Kelly saw Gabriel's figure.
She snorted disdainfully, "What did he want?"
Natalie curled her lips. "To be friends."
Kelly scoffed, "Does he deserve it?"
Natalie answered, "Of course not."
She raised an eyebrow as if it were a matter of course. Watching Gabriel's figure in the rearview mirror grow smaller and smaller, she suddenly felt a bit bored.
As soon as she got home, she called Aaron.
Her voice was cold. "There's a rich man named Eugene. I don't care what his family does, but by tomorrow morning, I want to hear that his family has gone bankrupt and disappeared."
Aaron didn't know what had happened, but it was the first time Natalie had used the power of Clark Group to crush a company.
"Yes, Ms. Clark," answered Aaron.
It looked like he would be working overtime again tonight.
