Chapter 90 She Is a Trash Can
Natalie walked over in surprise and saw the luxurious yet understated package with a familiar brand logo. Kelly picked up an item and asked in confusion, "Isn't this what we just picked out in the store?"
It really was!
These clothes looked so familiar. Natalie frowned. Weren't they taken by Angela? How did they end up here?
The front desk staff spoke up, "The store manager just delivered them personally. She said they were already paid for by Mr. Kensington."
“Gabriel?”
Natalie's expression changed. This move was obviously for the emerald ring in her hands.
Unfortunately, she didn't need it!
Kelly sneered. "Gabriel? What's he up to?"
Natalie calmly looked up. "Have these sent back to Kensington Group."
The front desk staff was stunned. She thought Natalie was going to reconcile with Gabriel.
It seemed impossible.
"Yes." She lowered her head and called someone to come down.
"If he's willing to do this, you might as well keep them. At least it will make Angela and Alyssa gnash their teeth in anger," Kelly suggested.
Natalie glanced at her and chuckled, "I can't afford to wear what he gives, and I don't want to owe him anything!"
In three years of marriage, he never took the initiative to give gifts, let alone clothes. Now that they were divorced, wasn't this pretentiousness laughable?
Kelly raised an eyebrow. "That made sense."
When the clothes were returned to Kensington Group, Brad looked at the pile of clothes, sighed, and then reluctantly went to Gabriel's office.
He knocked on the door. "Mr. Kensington."
Gabriel looked up, his expression cold. "What is it?"
"The clothes I sent to Clark Group were returned," Brad said, watching Gabriel frown. Gabriel’s expression gradually darkened, but Brad continued, "Mr. Kensington, I think Natalie might not like them. Otherwise, why would she give them to Angela?"
He didn't want to deliver them again. It was clear Natalie wouldn't accept his clothes, and it was a futile effort.
Gabriel's gaze paused slightly, and then he looked away. "Forget it."
After all, after the divorce, Natalie didn't need to consider his will anymore.
Brad breathed a sigh of relief. "What should we do with these clothes?"
"Handle them as you see fit. If Angela wants them, send them to her."
"Yes."
When the clothes were delivered to the old house and placed in front of Angela, her previously good mood instantly worsened.
She seemed agitated, stood up abruptly, and raised her voice. "What does this mean? Giving me what Natalie doesn't want? Am I a trash can?"
Alyssa stared intently and gritted her teeth at the sight of those expensive luxury items. She suppressed the intense hatred in her heart and gently comforted Angela.
"Forget it. Maybe Natalie felt embarrassed to take them since she didn't pay. And as for tonight's fashion show, I went to great lengths to get the tickets. We should wear these clothes to match our status."
Angela had to endure it. None of the socialites in the circle were invited to this show. Everyone used various channels and methods to get a ticket, but the mysterious founder didn't care about their status. She sent invitations to others based on her preferences.
Getting into this private show became a symbol of status and prestige. When Angela found out Alyssa got the tickets, she was so happy that she almost jumped!
At that time, she would post it on Facebook to make others envious.
She had to stun the entire audience.
Alyssa knew Angela really wanted to attend this show. She asked her uncle, Leo, and even her late friend Oscar's acquaintances. She used all her connections and finally got these two tickets, just to please Angela and secure her entry into the Kensington family.
