Chapter 91 The Galaxy is Mine
The dazzling venue was set up in a uniquely styled estate and adorned with exquisite and expensive decorations everywhere. The entire estate blended seamlessly with the night, with the entrance subtly shimmering with dim starlight, which resembled a galaxy fallen to the ground.
Upon entering the estate, one would be greeted by a vast starry sky overhead, as if immersed in the boundless universe, which left everyone in awe. Yves followed behind Natalie and Kelly, looking around. "Not bad at all."
Natalie rolled her eyes at him and proudly lifted her chin. "Of course. Only three from the entertainment industry were invited, and you're one of them."
"I'm truly honored," Yves said with a smile, and his handsome face became even more charming and profound.
"Natalie." Mia walked over, glanced at Yves behind them, paused slightly, and then smiled, "The famous actor is here too? Hello."
Yves smirked. "Mia, are you planning to monopolize the fashion industry?"
Mia felt a bit embarrassed, lowered her head, smiled, and then looked up at him. "You're exaggerating."
"You're all grown up now and call me Yves please." Yves stood there lazily with his hands in his pockets, teasingly looking at her.
Mia's smile deepened, and her eyes were sparkling as she looked up at him. "Yves."
Yves smiled contentedly. "I was just joking with you. You guys go ahead and have fun; I'll just sit around."
Mia nodded, shifted her gaze back, and took Natalie and Kelly's hands. "Let's go to the back and get ready."
Natalie and Kelly didn't notice anything different about Mia from usual and were only marveling at the surroundings.
"This is so beautiful. Your work hasn't even appeared yet, and it's already stunning." Natalie couldn't help but praise.
Mia raised an eyebrow and looked at them helplessly. "Speaking of which, you two are my partners. You need to help me when I need it."
At her reminder, Natalie remembered that when Mia founded Share, she was short on funds. Natalie and Kelly chipped in some and didn't ask for it back. Mia simply registered them as shareholders. Though their shares weren't much, they were significantly associated with the company.
Kelly smiled and changed the subject. "Where are our dresses?"
Mia had someone bring out three custom dresses hanging on a rack. Each was covered with a layer of white gauze. She clapped her hands in satisfaction. "Try them on."
The instant Natalie and Kelly removed the gauze, they were shocked and amazed by the dresses inside.
"The theme of this show was the Galaxy is Mine. The brilliance of the stars was certainly stunning, but starry designs have become cliché. The theme design of the Galaxy is Mine meant that women could have various possibilities. Women could be princesses, queens, knights, or even ordinary dust. Each dress was designed to correspond to a unique constellation. As long as these dresses exist, they represent the galaxy."
Mia smiled contentedly and picked up the custom-made white satin dress with hollow patterns in the middle. The fabric was exquisite, with the design featuring a bouquet of blue and purple baby's breath around the shoulders, which wrapped irregularly upwards. The skirt was designed with a mermaid curve and adorned with purple pearls that shimmered with dim light, exuding a mysterious nobility under the lights.
"This one is for Natalie. I custom-made it for you. Try it on; It's the main piece of the Cassiopeia series."
Natalie excitedly took it. It was even more stunning than the luxury brand dresses she saw while shopping today.
"This one is for Kelly. It's Gemini."
After Mia chose theirs, they each went to a room to change.
When they came out, everyone couldn't help but exclaim. Natalie's dress was simply perfect. The front was designed with hollow patterns, but the bouquet of baby's breath cleverly covered the key parts, which added a touch of sanctity.
