Chapter 459 There Is a Gathering

No way was anyone going to take Natalie from him, not even Robert!

Gabriel's face lit up with a warm, cheerful smile as he watched the scene unfold.

Suddenly, he found Mike much more agreeable.

"Hey, Mr. Williams, don't sweat it. Mike's always been like this, just like you."

Robert was helpless.

Before Robert could get mad, Mike grabbed Natalie's hand and took off running.

Natalie had no choice but to follow. They stopped in a quiet spot, both of them out of breath.

"Natalie, tell me, out of the three of us, who treats you the best?"

His bright, clear eyes sparkled as he asked the most innocent question.

His blue eyes seemed like the purest place in the world.

Natalie was taken aback. Three men?

Him, Gabriel, and Robert?

Grown men?

Natalie couldn't quite understand Mike's mindset, but she knew it was best to humor him.

"Of course, it's you!"

Mike beamed with joy, proudly patting his chest.

"Of course, I'm the best. Those two are ugly, stingy, and old. They can't compare to me!"

Natalie nodded in agreement.

"Right!"

Mike, a little shy, took a step forward and held her beautiful hand.

"Then wait for me to grow up, and we'll be together forever!"

Natalie couldn't help but laugh. What an adorable Mike!

She reached out and pinched his soft, chubby cheek. "Okay, I'll wait for you to grow up!"

Mike happily hugged her, nuzzling her palm. He was so happy.

Natalie brought Mike back to the group, and they continued their outing as if nothing had happened.

Ulysses had been enjoying the trip immensely.

After Robert left early in the afternoon, Natalie decided to change their destination.

She suggested going to Rosewood City.

Everyone agreed without hesitation, and they moved that very day.

The temperature in Rosewood City was perfect for surfing, but with Gabriel and Jagger around, it was hard to get in the mood.

The next evening.

A gentle breeze carried the heat.

The hotel belonged to Gabriel, and it had been cleared out before they arrived.

Ulysses went out to explore with the locals, while the rest stayed at the hotel to relax.

Natalie descended the stairs in a light apricot dress, looking radiant and stunning.

In the lobby's lounge area, Gabriel was listening to the hotel manager's quarterly report. He looked surprised when he saw Natalie.

"Heading out?"

Natalie responded with a nod.

"There's a party."

With that, she turned and headed for the door.

Gabriel pressed his lips together.

Before he could ask where she was going, he saw a Porsche pull up at the hotel entrance.

The driver got out.

It was Robert.

Gabriel's eyes narrowed instantly.

Dangerous and sharp.

He wheeled himself over as Robert, ever the gentleman, opened the car door for Natalie. Robert paused when he saw Gabriel and nodded slightly.

"Mr. Kensington."

Even in a wheelchair, Gabriel's presence was undiminished, his gaze cold as he faced Robert.

"Mr. Williams, what a coincidence!"

Robert was the most unpredictable element of the entire trip.

Gabriel had never been thrilled about his presence, and now it was affecting his mood again.

A breeze blew by, and Natalie's scarf slipped off, landing at Gabriel's feet.

Gabriel bent down to pick it up.

At the same time, Robert grabbed the other end.

Gabriel looked up, his dark eyes filled with cold intensity. As their eyes met, an unspoken challenge passed between them.

Neither let go first.

Neither spoke first.

For a moment, the atmosphere was tense.
