Chapter 169 Crashing You
Skylar didn't care about anything else. She stepped forward and grabbed Roger's arm.
"Dad, why are you so afraid of her? Natalie doesn't have any real skills!" Skylar exclaimed.
Roger shook her off, thinking about what Natalie had just said. Then he went over and yanked her up roughly.
"I'm telling you, Natalie is the heir to the Clark Group. She can easily make our company disappear. You better behave yourself. If you cause any more trouble, I'll send you to Veridonia, and I won't give you a single penny. You'll be on your own!" Roger retorted.
Skylar trembled all over, her face filled with fear.
In the elevator, Natalie and Gabriel didn't say a word until they reached the conference room door, where Aaron was waiting for them.
Seeing them approach, he stepped forward to open the door for them.
Gabriel always had a strong and intimidating presence, commanding respect and attention wherever he went. He was impossible to ignore.
But when they entered, Natalie walked in front. Her aura matched Gabriel's, but her cold and glamorous demeanor made her even more striking.
As soon as they entered, Roger and Skylar quickly followed.
The meeting began, and Natalie didn't say much throughout. It was Aaron who methodically announced various results and matters.
Skylar felt dazed the entire time, sitting there in a fog. She felt alternately cold and hot, her palms sweaty.
Looking at Natalie, who sat at the head of the table with an extraordinary, cool, and noble demeanor, Skylar suddenly felt a sense of distance. The gap between her and Natalie was something she could never bridge in her lifetime.
Was this the consequence of offending Natalie?
Natalie had taught Skylar a lesson with facts!
Gabriel, sitting nearby, kept his eyes fixed on Natalie's face the entire time, which made people think that the only reason he attended the meeting was because of her.
Skylar finally understood the meeting's outcome. Natalie, as the largest shareholder, had taken control of Gemini Entertainment.
She had removed Roger from his position as chairman, and Jacob from Heggte Entertainment would take over Gemini Entertainment.
Gemini Entertainment would become one of the small companies under the Clark Group.
Natalie watched Skylar's changing expressions with a smile throughout.
It was absolutely magnificent!
She was far from being let down!
After this incident, Roger would likely no longer keep the troublemaking Skylar by his side, especially since he had an illegitimate son.
Skylar could finally disappear completely from her sight.
When the meeting ended, Natalie didn't want to engage in too much small talk. She gave Aaron a look and left directly.
Aaron stayed behind to socialize with the remaining people.
Natalie got into her car, planning to drive herself away. As she went to the intersection, the car in front of her wouldn't move. Natalie frowned slightly at the Range Rover blocking the road.
She was getting impatient.
Just as that car started to move, Natalie stepped on the gas.
Suddenly, a violent jolt from a collision left her momentarily stunned.
Did the person in that car suddenly stop?
As a result, Natalie rear-ended them!
She had just been happy for a moment, and now this happened. Natalie didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Just as she was about to get out of the car, she saw someone get out in front of her.
It was someone she knew all too well.
It was Gabriel.
Natalie took a deep breath and looked closely at the license plate. The car model was the same, but the plate was different.
It seemed he had bought several of the same cars.
Sure enough, Gabriel had a special fondness for the Range Rover.
She was starting to hate this car!
Gabriel walked over with a stern face and knocked on her window, his sharp, deep eyes looking at her through the glass.
His gaze seemed to penetrate the glass.
Natalie took a deep breath. She had rear-ended him; it was her fault—she was in the wrong!
She was so unlucky!
“Natalie, did you do this on purpose?”
