Chapter 322 But You Have to Marry Me

Gabriel frowned at her, his gaze unfamiliar and cold. He didn't believe her sudden kindness.

Natalie's heart sank because he didn't recognize her, didn't realize she was the one who had almost drowned just now, didn't recognize the person he had saved twice before.

She changed her tone, looking into Gabriel's eyes.

"But you have to marry me."

Natalie shivered all over, her thoughts snapping back. She looked at the dark sea, and that cold, suffocating feeling enveloped her, making it hard to breathe.

The past memories seemed too painful, whether it was the sea or something else, she gasped for air, her face pale and unsightly.

The sea surface remained calm, not even a wave in sight.

She was really anxious now, looking around, the nearest small sailboats were still some distance away, not sure if they could make it in time.

She ran to the side and shouted loudly towards the small boats,

"Help!"

"Please save him!"

"He's going to die!"

Five minutes passed.

Her throat was hoarse from shouting, but there was no response from the small boats, as if no one had heard.

Natalie's eyes were red with desperation, she involuntarily bent over, tears streaming down her face.

Was he going to die, just like she almost did?

Time ticked by, and Natalie grew more and more panicked, cold sweat constantly forming in her palms.

Even if he didn't drown, would he be eaten by fish?

There wasn't even a phone nearby to call for help. Wait, the speedboat should have an emergency button.

She pressed her lips together, her face turning extremely grim.

Natalie struggled for a moment, steadied herself, and walked to the emergency button, ready to press it without hesitation.

But suddenly, she heard the sound of splashing water, someone emerged from the sea.

Natalie hurried over, watching Rex in a wetsuit struggling to pull a box onto the speedboat, the box looked heavy.

Without a word, she went to help. The box was about eighty pounds, no wonder it was difficult to pull up.

Rex, exhausted, climbed up, lying on the boat and gasping for air, he took off his mask and sighed.

"Ms. Clark, this isn't light. You need to learn how to swim."

Natalie's eyes were slightly red, she nodded quickly, her voice hoarse.

"Are you okay?"

Rex coughed a couple of times, resting for a moment, "I'm fine. I'm a professional adventurer, drowning would be too ridiculous, right?"

Natalie pressed her lips together, speaking softly.

"But it's the swimmers who drown."

Her eyes were red, her voice off, Rex gave her a strange look.

While exploring underwater, he couldn't hear anything, didn't know what had happened on the shore.

Natalie lowered her head to hide her emotions, naturally handing him a towel and water.

After resting for a while, they opened the box.

It was a parasail.

"Ever tried it?" he asked.

Natalie shook her head.

Rex pressed his lips together, "It's simple, I'll take you."

Natalie nodded, since they were in this together, apart from swimming, she had to face everything else head-on.

Rex took out the rope to connect the parasail to the speedboat, he tied the rope to the speedboat with a quick, secure knot, and then firmly tied the other end to himself and Natalie.

Natalie had skydived before, thinking it should be similar, so she wasn't too scared, rather a bit excited.

They set the speedboat to automatic mode, the speed instantly surged, and they shot out across the sea.
