Chapter 87 I Mind Your Breathing

Alyssa looked up and saw Natalie, who was gently swirling a glass of red wine in her hand upstairs with casual indifference in her eyes. Alyssa was momentarily stunned, but Natalie had already turned her head away and continued to watch the model's display without a care.

Alyssa hesitated for a moment and then started to walk upstairs but was stopped by the staff downstairs.

"Sorry, ma'am, you can't go to the second floor."

Angela was furious. "What did you say? Why can't I go? I'm one of your VIP guests. Is there any place I can't go? You are being rude. Be careful, or I'll complain and get you all fired."

The staff member smiled politely and said, "Sorry, ma'am, the upstairs area is reserved for our important guests and cannot be disturbed. Currently, only the first floor is open for viewing. If you want to go to the second floor, you'll have to wait until tomorrow."

"No way. I have an important party to attend tonight. It has to be today!"

Angela was enraged. She didn't care about anyone. Who dared to ignore Angela from the Kensington family?

The staff member looked at her helplessly. "I'm really sorry, but it's not possible."

Alyssa, standing beside Angela, pulled her arm. "Forget it. Maybe the guests upstairs are truly important. Let's just stay on the first floor."

Angela felt humiliated. In Rottloe, who dared to offend the future heir of the Kensington family?

She sneered, pushed past the staff member, and headed upstairs. "I must go to the second floor. If the one upstairs doesn't like it, she can come down."

The staff couldn't stop her and followed in a panic. "No."

Alyssa's eyes flashed with a hint of triumph.

Natalie, who was upstairs, saw everything and found it quite amusing.

The store manager, hearing the commotion, glanced apologetically at Natalie and then moved aside. She intended to stop Angela, but it was too late. Angela had already run upstairs in a few steps.

Seeing Natalie, Angela was a bit surprised and completely unexpected.

Kelly sneered. "I wondered who could be so rude. It turns out to be Angela. There's no one else in Rottloe as uncouth as you!"

Angela gritted her teeth in anger. "So it's you. Did you book the entire second floor? Why can't anyone come up?"

"Because we want it that way. What's it to you?" Kelly retorted with raised eyebrows.

Natalie nonchalantly swirled the wine in her hand. The aroma was rich, and the atmosphere was good, but it was a pity to be ruined.

Alyssa stepped forward and smiled at Natalie. "Long time no see, Natalie."

"Stop acting like that. Who wants to see you?" Kelly dislikes Alyssa so much.

No words could describe Alyssa's baseness; She was simply a disgusting bitch.

Natalie kept her eyes down and didn't respond. There came an awkward silence. The store manager, seeing this, immediately understood that although these people knew each other, they were not close at all.

"Excuse me, ladies. but these ladies were here first. Could you please wait downstairs?"

"Why should we wait?" Angela vented her dissatisfaction.

Anyway, she couldn't get back the emerald ring, for which her grandfather scolded her every day, and Gabriel never spoke up for her. It was all because of Natalie.

"We all know each other. Why don’t we watch together? This is a model showcasing ready-to-wear, which is usually not available to guests. Since I have a chance to appreciate it, Natalie shouldn't mind, right?" Alyssa said gently.

The store manager hesitated, struggling to figure out how to get them out, when Natalie, who had been silent, chuckled softly.

She thought, ‘Are they thinking I won’t refuse them in front of everyone? They must think I will swallow the anger and stay silent as usual? They can keep dreaming, but I won’t be a pushover anymore.’

She casually looked up at Alyssa with her eyes devoid of any emotion. "I do mind. Your breathing disturbs my mood."
