Chapter 28 It’s No Use to Apologize

Gabriel left, leaving Leo bewildered, facing the intimidating group of people. Leo's last line of defense in his mind had completely collapsed. He felt like Kelly and the others wanted to devour him. Damn it! How could Gabriel just leave like that? Weren't they good friends?

Helplessly, Leo looked at the people in front of him, biting his lip and pleading without dignity, "Can you spare me this time?"

Kelly and the others simultaneously replied, "No!"

Meanwhile, Natalie discreetly left from a side door, unnoticed by the others. She had just sent a text message to Victor, and his driver should arrive soon. Then she messaged Kelly.

"Natalie."

Gabriel's hoarse voice stopped her. Outside the side door, a tall figure stood in the dimness. Natalie paused for a moment before immediately putting on a guarded and distant expression.

Gabriel noticed her change and his gaze softened slightly. "Is there something, Mr. Kensington?"
The dim light from the side door elongated their shadows. He took a step forward as she stepped back, clearly delineating their boundaries.

Gabriel smirked, threw his lit cigarette to the side, and took another step closer, staring intently at her.

"Natalie, Angela provoked you first in the restaurant. I will make her apologize to you," he said.

Natalie lowered her gaze and smiled briefly, but quickly withdrew the smile. Her expression turned cold, with a hint of sarcasm in her eyes.

"No need. Just take care of your own family," she replied.

Angela needed to apologize not only for what happened at the restaurant.

But now, Natalie no longer cared about her apology.

Gabriel furrowed his brows slightly, wanting to say something, when they heard a crazy scream at the door. They looked over and saw Leo running out from inside, covering his face with his hands, completely naked. Leo's voice, filled with despair and humiliation, broke intermittently, "I will not give up!"

As Leo approached Gabriel and Natalie, the flash of a camera went off. Leo froze in shock beside Gabriel and Natalie, feeling both embarrassed and angry. Trembling, he pointed at Natalie, almost on the verge of tears.

"You... You actually took a photo?"

Natalie looked satisfied with the picture on her phone. The angle she captured was excellent, and the photo was clear, almost perfect!

She lifted the corner of her mouth, provocatively glancing at Leo.

"Mr. Dixon, it would be a shame if I didn't capture such a splendid scene. I purposely waited here for you," she said.

She knew Leo would not have the courage to leave through the main entrance. This side door was their only way out.

"You... You..."

Leo was too infuriated to speak, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

Natalie's gaze turned cold, her voice stern, "If you dare to provoke me again, I will share this photo with the whole world!"

Did they still see her as the foolish woman from three years ago? Did they think anyone could bully her?

Natalie turned around and saw Victor's driver standing at the intersection. He politely bowed, waiting for her to finish her business.

Without a second glance, Natalie walked past him and got into Victor's luxury car. The car gradually drove away, disappearing from sight, and only then did Gabriel regain his focus.

Gabriel didn't know why, but when he saw Natalie face the naked Leo without flinching, threatening and mocking him, he seemed somewhat unhappy.

Reflecting on tonight, from Natalie playing the violin on stage to her gambling at the table, the once quiet and reserved Natalie suddenly became enigmatic. Gabriel seemed to be increasingly unable to see through her, feeling a sense of unease deep down.

Leo was standing there, watching Natalie's figure, which made Gabriel frown slightly. Without thinking, he threw his coat over Leo's head and said, "Hurry up, don't you think you've embarrassed yourself enough?"
