Chapter 211 What Bigger Picture Does She Represent

Natalie really didn't feel like dealing with Gabriel. But since he was already here, she had to play nice.

Aaron held the office door open for her.

Natalie walked in with confidence. She had this aura of confidence and elegance, like she was on a whole other level.

Gabriel paused for a moment as he watched her. Something about the scene felt oddly familiar.

A memory flashed in his mind.

A girl was in a red dress. He couldn't see her face in the dark, but there was this light cutting through the night.

He frowned a bit; that was a memory from Eldoria. He didn't know why he was thinking about that now.

"Mr. Kensington, please come in," Aaron said, reminding him politely.

Gabriel walked in and looked around.

The decor was pretty minimalist. But there were little touches that showed a young girl's influence. A sculpture on the desk had a pink rose stuck in its head, looking playful and lively.

Natalie sat down on the big, soft sofa.

"Mr. Kensington, what brings you here?" She looked at him seriously.

If it wasn't important, she wouldn't bother with him.

Gabriel's gaze was intense. "Have you thought about the cooperation on that piece of land?"

Natalie raised an eyebrow. "Is such a small matter worth your personal visit?"

Gabriel's face was cold, his demeanor steady and calm. He didn't hesitate. "It's best to decide early; we can't delay."

Natalie lightly tapped her fingers on the side, suddenly thinking of Lillian. She was kicked out of the Walker family's circle of friends.

Natalie didn't believe that the recent events had nothing to do with Lillian.

The one who benefited most from her fallout with the Walker family was Lillian, the popular candidate for daughter-in-law.

Thinking about it, she looked at Gabriel. "I'm willing to cooperate, but I have one condition."

Gabriel's eyes were deep. Whatever she asked for, he would agree.

"I don't care what private agreements Kensington Group has with Lillian, but for this project, it's either me or her." Natalie's attitude was firm, her demands clear, though it sounded a bit unreasonable.

Gabriel frowned slightly, showing a rare hint of confusion.

Natalie smiled, her coldness undisguised. "Gabriel, I know your invitation to Clark Group this time is somewhat compensatory."

He said nothing.

Natalie pursed her lips, took a sip of the coffee in front of her, and gently put it down. "I accept your compensation."

He suddenly looked up, a bit stunned. Her calmness was somewhat unexpected.

"Have you made up your mind?" His voice was deep.

"But I won't work with Lillian, so she has to be out. Of course, this is also your only chance to compensate."

Once the cooperation was established, everything would be even, no need to repeatedly thought about the unpleasant past. Otherwise, the one who suffered the most was still Natalie.

The atmosphere fell silent.

Natalie was clearly asking for a favor, but she stated her conditions so righteously.

Besides Natalie, probably no one else could speak to Gabriel like that.

"Why?" Gabriel asked. He thought she and Lillian didn't have much interaction.

Natalie sneered, as if it was obvious. "No other reason, I just purely dislike her."

She thought, 'So, don't talk about the bigger picture. What bigger picture does Lillian represent?'
