Chapter 200 You Won't Compete with Me, Right?

"Just a piece of land. Think of it as a gift from him to show how he feels about her," Charlie thought.

Natalie never expected Charlie to spend so much money, and it was all for her. A wave of mixed emotions hit her. Despite the staggering ten billion dollars involved, she felt a strange mix of gratitude and unease.

Considering the risks and benefits, she couldn't make such a decision lightly. His actions put a lot of pressure on her.

As she hesitated, she heard Lillian sneer. "Didn't expect you guys to mix business with personal matters. Is Mr. Walker planning to use the entire Walker family to win a woman's favor?"

Her words clearly crossed the line. Charlie's brow furrowed, a touch of frostiness creeping into his expression. He chose to stay silent in response to Lillian's jab, fixing her with a steady gaze and a half-smile.

"As long as it makes her happy, it's all worth it to me," he said.

Even if it meant giving up everything, he wouldn't hesitate.

With just one sentence, Lillian's expression changed dramatically. His words and demeanor had inflicted an invisible wound on her. Even as a tough CEO, tears welled up in her eyes. The next second, she left without saying a word.

Charlie was truly in love with Natalie!

Natalie frowned. "Charlie, you're being ridiculous!"

Charlie smiled. "I don't want something you like to end up in someone else's hands."

'Especially Gabriel!' he added silently.

Natalie sighed and turned to Aaron. "Go to the company and transfer forty-nine billion dollars to the Walker family."

"Yes."

Natalie looked up at Charlie. "I'll give you the remaining one billion dollars personally."

He wasn't Yves. She had no reason to take advantage of him for a billion dollars.

Charlie was very dissatisfied with this answer. "Natalie, I don't want it."

"If you don't want it, you can keep the land yourself. Maybe then Mr. Walker will skin you alive!"
After saying that, Natalie turned and left, ignoring him.

Charlie was taken aback, a flicker of uncertainty passing through his eyes. Hastily, he trailed after her, murmuring, "I did everything for you!"

"Get lost," Natalie snapped.

At Kensington Group, Gabriel listened to Brad's report with a grim expression. Natalie winning wouldn't make him angry. Fair competition was only right. He had even considered letting the land go or adopting a compromise method of mutual cooperation.

What made him angry was that Charlie won the bid, particularly because his intention had been to gift the land to Natalie. It was like a joke! Charlie made him look despicable.

Brad stood aside, not daring to make a sound. Gabriel's low pressure was terrifying. Even when Gabriel lost a bid before, Brad had never seen him this angry. Charlie really had some skills.

"Mr. Kensington," Brad spoke, "Since the result is already out—"

Gabriel coldly interrupted him, "Go directly contact Mr. Quinn Walker and tell him I want to buy that land for fifty billion dollars. Ask if he's willing to sell."

Although he phrased it as a question, his voice was firm and decisive. By bypassing Charlie and going straight to Quinn, how much did he look down on Charlie?

Brad didn't dare to hesitate and promptly left the room. Gabriel was willing to spend more than his expected budget for a private transaction? For what? Brad could already guess.

His call directly reached Quinn, explaining everything that happened today and Gabriel's attitude. Quinn hesitated for a few seconds before agreeing.

"Charlie is immature. Please bear with him. I'll immediately contact the company to coordinate with Kensington Group," said Quinn.

"Mr. Quinn Walker, you're too kind. I'll send someone to coordinate. Mr. Kensington wishes you good health." Brad hung up the phone and breathed a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, within minutes, Natalie received a call from Quinn, which surprised her. In just a few words, she understood Quinn's intention.
