Chapter 460 Went with Him
Natalie turned around, walked over calmly, and with a quick tug, the scarf was in her hand.
The silence in the air was broken.
"Let's go, don't waste time."
She got into the car and spoke first.
Robert straightened up, his gaze cold and steady. "Goodbye, Mr. Kensington."
Ignoring the oppressive chill emanating from Gabriel, he sized up the other man, walked around the front of the car, got in, and started the engine.
Gabriel stood there motionless, his narrow eyes sharp and dangerous.
How could he remain indifferent when someone coveted what was his?
When Jagger arrived, he saw the scene and hurried over.
"Mr. Kensington, have you seen Ms. Clark?"
Gabriel remained silent.
For a long time.
He spoke indifferently, "Find out what events are happening today."
If Robert and Natalie were attending together, it certainly wasn't some insignificant little party.
He couldn't possibly be unaware.
Jagger hesitated for a moment, then pulled out his phone to check the schedule Brad had sent him.
A few seconds later.
Jagger spoke with difficulty, "Today is Mr. Dixon's birthday. You declined his invitation."
Gabriel frowned, and Jagger continued:
"I heard Mr. Dixon invited quite a few celebrities. The party is quite large. Would you like to go and take a look?"
Jagger didn't hold out much hope. He knew Mr. Kensington wouldn't waste time at such a valueless event.
But Gabriel paused, "Alright, make the arrangements."
Jagger was momentarily stunned but didn't dare delay. He immediately had the driver prepare the car.
On the way, he wanted to ask where Natalie had gone, but didn't dare speak up.
They arrived at a luxurious beachside villa.
The laughter and chatter inside could be heard from afar.
When Leo heard Gabriel had arrived, he excitedly ran to the door to greet him personally.
As soon as he saw him, Leo rushed over to hug him.
"Gabriel, I knew you'd come. You came to celebrate my birthday even though your leg hasn't fully healed. I must be really important to you. We'll be best friends forever!"
Leo was so moved he was at a loss for words, his eyes even reddened.
Gabriel frowned, and Jagger quickly went over to peel Leo off Gabriel.
"There are so many people here, Mr. Dixon. No need to be so formal. We're all friends."
Leo nodded, touched.
But Gabriel's expression remained indifferent as he looked up at him.
"Is Natalie here?"
Leo was taken aback by the question.
His expression instantly became complicated. "Aren't you here to celebrate my birthday?"
He keenly sensed the implication of the question, and sadness welled up.
"Gabriel, why are you here?"
Behind him, Natalie looked at Gabriel in surprise.
Leo turned around slowly when he heard Natalie's voice.
He hadn't even noticed when Natalie had arrived.
His voice trembled as he looked at Gabriel.
"So you didn't come for me!"
Seeing Gabriel about to be surrounded by people for small talk, Jagger quickly pushed Gabriel inside.
"Mr. Dixon, Mr. Kensington is here for you. He took time out of his busy schedule to wish you a happy birthday. Running into Ms. Clark is purely coincidental. No, it's fate!"
Jagger corrected himself, glancing at Natalie.
"Fate!"
Natalie rolled her eyes at him and walked over.
"Are you done yet?"
If they kept talking, everyone would hear!
Gabriel's mood visibly improved when he saw Natalie standing alone.
His eyes lost their chill, and he looked at her warmly, unwilling to look away.
"Yes, fate."
Leo perked up and moved closer.
"Did you come just for me?"
