Chapter 14 Grow Your Career
Alyssa pleaded desperately inside the car, but Gabriel felt a boiling anger with no outlet.
If she was lying this time, then which time in the past three years was the truth?
Walking in the cold wind, a sports car slowly stopped, and the person inside waved to Gabriel, "Gabriel, get in."
Gabriel's brother, Leo Dixon, was originally going to the banquet as well. With the commotion that just happened, Leo felt it was no longer interesting, so he left. Leo didn't expect to run into Gabriel on the roadside.
Gabriel lit a cigarette on the passenger seat. Amidst the smoke, he remembered Natalie's action of taking a cigarette, and instantly stiffened.
"Gabriel, have you seen Natalie? What's her relationship with Victor from Wallege?"

Luckily, there were no reporters today. Otherwise, this matter would have caused a huge explosion in the circle. But with the Kensington family's status, no one dared to spread this matter without authorization.
"For Natalie to marry you with her background, we all feel sorry for you. And she even dared to target Alyssa today? Ha, luckily you two divorced, otherwise the entire Kensington family would have been destroyed by her. I didn't know how she managed to seduce Victor. They seem more intimate than you two. I really didn't expect her to have this ability."
With Gabriel's status and position, he should marry a woman similar to his family background. Friends like them did not find women like Natalie, who would do anything for money, appealing!
Hearing Leo's careless words, Gabriel felt a hint of discomfort in his heart.
Gabriel's expression was frosty, his gaze cold and deep. "Enough, stop talking!"
Leo shrugged, thinking, 'Well, you already divorced. That woman has self-awareness. As long as she doesn't cause trouble for Gabriel, it's fine.'
Gabriel fell silent, his face dark, then he extinguished the cigarette with one hand, letting it disappear in the wind.
"How about we go get a drink?" Leo suggested.
Gabriel agreed silently, "Go ahead." He desperately needed to alleviate the restlessness in his chest.
After the heat died down, Natalie became the center of attention at the party. Victor officially introduced Natalie as the newly appointed manager, replacing the missing position.
Speculations about their intimate relationship started to arise among the guests. However, both of them brushed it off with a smile, without offering any further explanation.
Natalie needed to establish her credibility within the Clark Group, so Victor couldn't directly announce her inheritance. She had to rely on her own abilities and connections.
Many people within the company were dissatisfied with this decision, but nobody dared to challenge Victor's authority.
Victor assigned Aaron Cooper, one of his trusted subordinates, as Natalie's secretary. Aaron had to spend two hours every day personally tutoring her. Natalie spent the last two hours of her workday in Victor's office.
Watching Natalie relaxed and at ease on the rocking chair, Victor smiled and playfully threatened, "If you keep slacking off, I'll have Dad personally teach you next time."
Natalie immediately sat up. "No, thanks!"
"In a couple of days, Zorblax Group will be celebrating its anniversary, and they have a project you can try for," Victor continued.
Natalie was pleasantly surprised. "Sure, I'll definitely go for it."
"It's not that simple. Everyone knows it's a lucrative opportunity, so it won't be easy to secure the project. I should be out of the country during those days, but Yves should be back," Victor explained.
"Is Yves coming back? I'll personally go pick him up."
Natalie hadn't seen her older brother, Yves Clark, in a long time. The last time she saw him was when she watched his play on TV.
Victor chuckled helplessly and glanced at the time. "Let's go, I'll take you out for dinner."
As soon as they entered the restaurant, Natalie's expression turned sour, feeling unlucky.
Wendy and Angela were there too!
"Where's your manager? Can anyone just walk in here?" Angela shouted.
