Chapter 166 Transferring Money to Mr. Kensington
The atmosphere inside and outside the car suddenly became tense.
Gabriel's face was extremely tight. His deep eyes stared at Natalie, and his thin lips were tightly pressed together.
With no outsiders present, she didn't even bother to pretend to be peaceful.
When it came to Natalie, Gabriel never had the right to be forgiven!
Others, like Charlie, Yves, Kyle, Dominic, and even Brad, were treated a thousand times better than him!
Natalie sat there nonchalantly, waiting for Gabriel to leave on his own. Her car wasn't for just anyone to sit in. Gabriel was even less deserving!
But a full minute passed, and he still stood there, unmoving.
Natalie frowned at him. She thought, 'Doesn't he understand?'
Just as she was about to speak to drive him away, Gabriel's thin lips parted, his voice cold and emotionless. "Natalie, are you sure you don't want to go where I'm going?"
Of course!
Before she could say it, Aaron coughed, signaling that he had something to say.
Before Natalie could react, Gabriel let out a faint laugh. "I haven't signed the papers yet for the 5% of Gemini Entertainment shares you bought from me. If you don't want to go, then forget it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Natalie stiffened.
Why was this happening?
Aaron closed his eyes helplessly, cleared his throat, and explained, "Ms. Clark, I was just about to mention this. Mr. Kensington sold 5% of his shares to us, but the final step of signing is still pending."
Natalie took a deep breath and glared at him fiercely.
She thought, 'You don't have to hold it until now, do you?‘?
Aaron lowered his head sheepishly, avoiding her gaze. She hadn't given him a chance to speak.
Gabriel's lips curled slightly, his smile enough to bewitch anyone.
His hand, resting on the glass, gently clenched and tapped twice as if waiting for Natalie to invite him in.
Seeing no response from her, he decisively turned and started to leave.
Natalie finally couldn't hold back.
She called out, "Wait a minute!"
Gabriel paused.
Natalie closed her eyes, clenched her fists, and looked at Aaron. "Aren't you going to open the door for Mr. Kensington?"
Hearing this, Aaron immediately jumped out of the car, opened the left side of the back seat, and respectfully invited Gabriel in. "Mr. Kensington, please."
Gabriel, with his back to them, showed a faint smile, which quickly disappeared. Without hesitation, he turned, got in the car, and sat down.
As soon as he got in, he smelled a faint perfume.
Natalie was wearing her favorite perfume, a unique, subtle, and cool scent that seemed to seep into his heart.
Gabriel, who usually hated women wearing perfume, suddenly felt a strange sense of tolerance and attraction.
He felt that perfume truly came alive when worn by Natalie, as if it had discovered its purpose..
Natalie then opened the document in her hand. Sure enough, the share transfer agreement only lacked Gabriel's signature.
She twitched her lips and calmly looked at Gabriel. "Mr. Kensington, why would you give up shares of Gemini Entertainment?"
She thought, 'And why at this particular time? Gabriel isn't in such a dire situation that he needs to sell shares, right?'
Gabriel snapped back to reality, glanced at her, and saw her delicate features full of wariness and distrust towards him.
He frowned slightly. Maybe she never believed he would be nice to her.
After thinking for a moment, he directly took the share transfer agreement from her hand and quickly signed his name on it.
He handed it back indifferently. "Now, do you believe it's real?"
Natalie looked at the signature, slightly stunned.
She suddenly remembered Gabriel's signature on the divorce papers, which was just as decisive and straightforward, without any hesitation.
Coming back to her senses, her eyes turned colder, and she put away the share transfer agreement, her attitude distant and indifferent.
She instructed Aaron, "Aaron, make sure to transfer the money to Mr. Kensington promptly."
They owed each other nothing.
Aaron naturally responded promptly, not daring to hesitate.
Natalie smiled, lowered her eyes slightly, hiding all her discomfort, and quickly changed the subject. "Mr. Kensington, you should know what I'm going to do, right? I thought you would be a bit more lenient with Skylar. I didn't expect you to be so cruel to the women who like you all the time?"
