Chapter 17 Coincidence
Gabriel watched as Victor's car gradually disappeared, squinting his eyes.
Divorced Natalie was like a derailed train, with no clear direction in sight.
The old Natalie used to speak to him with caution, but now she dared to speak those blunt words without fear.
Angela couldn't bear to let her go like this and wanted to go stop the car, but Gabriel held her back firmly.
"That's enough!"
"Brother, how can you speak to outsiders like this? Natalie is bullying me, which means she's bullying the Kensington family. She forgot who supported her for these three years. She really needs to be taught a lesson!"
"Angela, the jewelry in the Kensington Villa's safe is meant for Natalie's use. Without permission, why did you take it?" Gabriel couldn't help but remind her. Although he never actively gave her any, it was clear that everything in the Kensington Villa was jointly owned by him and Natalie.
"I'm your own sister, it's just a piece of jewelry. Do you really have to make a fuss about it? Besides, Natalie doesn't have any occasions to attend where she needs to wear such precious jewelry. Why can't I take it?" Angela retorted unhappily. How can Natalie be worthy of "Dream"?
Gabriel really wanted to teach her a lesson, but when Angela started to cry, thinking she was being wronged, he didn't even want to say anything.
"Let's go check the surveillance footage."
One sentence halted Angela's steps, her tears froze, and she gritted her teeth in anger. "Do you not trust your own sister? It's clearly a setup by them!"
"You'll see once we watch it," Gabriel glanced at Angela sideways, and then walked inside.
A trace of panic flashed across Angela's face, but she still bravely followed.
"I told you she's not a good person. Look at the way the man next to her dotes on her. Maybe she's been cheating on you and using your money to support that gigolo!"
Angela sarcastically remarked, hoping to get Gabriel to help her deal with Natalie. Why should that woman be above her?
Gabriel's eyes darkened and his face turned cold and stern. "Shut up!"
He walked away, completely ignoring Angela.
Meanwhile, the restaurant owner, following Victor's orders, had already prepared the surveillance video. As soon as Gabriel arrived, the owner handed over the video.
One minute, two minutes...
Gabriel's face grew increasingly dark and ugly, while Angela stood beside him, feeling anxious. The insults and derogatory words hurled at Angela and Wendy in the video were extremely offensive, but Natalie's reaction seemed routine.
Could this not be the first time? Could this be how the Kensington family treated Natalie when they got married?
Natalie's calmness and retaliation shocked both of them. Was this the first time she fought back?
Gabriel felt conflicted inside, his expression gloomy. He abruptly turned off the video and stormed out of the restaurant.
"Gabriel, wait for me."
"Angela, is this not the first time you've insulted her?" Gabriel stared at his sister intently.
Angela's face turned pale, looking rather ugly, as she quickly denied, "What are you talking about? I'm just upset that she divorced an d found another man so quickly. Why would I insult her otherwise?"
Gabriel sneered. He was starting to doubt this sister of his who had always been indulged and willful.
"Go apologize to Natalie!"
"I won't! I'd rather die than apologize to that bitch." Angela shouted in frustration. It was clearly Natalie who had poured wine on her, so why should she apologize?
