Chapter 284 Can You Take Care of Me
The sun was shining warmly, and the sea breeze was lazily stirring the waves, making everything feel just right.
Natalie, Kyle, and Yves were chatting when there was a knock on the door.
Kyle, seeing someone had arrived, headed back to his room to keep studying his physics formulas.
Yves didn't want to leave and just gave a slight nod towards the door.
"What do you want?"
Felix, with his fair skin and striking features, looked amazing.
He was dressed in a beige casual outfit with a gray-blue coat, looking both stylish and simple.
He smiled slightly, his eyes full of concern as he looked at Natalie, his voice gentle and relaxed.
"Natalie, you're finally awake. You had me worried sick."
Yves rolled his eyes from the side.
Natalie was happy to see Felix, especially relieved to see he was okay.
In just a few days, she and Felix had formed a life-and-death bond, making it one of the most unforgettable times of her life!
"Really? Felix, you look like you've gained weight."
Felix touched his cheek in disbelief. "No way!"
Natalie smiled and, remembering how he had hidden his identity from her, raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you say you had nothing to do with Gabriel?"
Felix guiltily touched his nose and grinned at her. "I didn't mean to lie to you. I saw the news that you had just divorced, and I was afraid you'd leave me behind."
Natalie looked at him speechlessly.
Yves, however, let out a cold laugh. "Your worry was justified."
Felix laughed. "Yves, Natalie won't. In a life-and-death situation, she let me stand behind her. What a kind and righteous angel she is."
Yves raised his eyebrows proudly. "I agree. Natalie is an angel."
Then he turned to Natalie, his tone serious. "But if you encounter danger again, you can't do that. You should stand behind others, not risk your own life."
His sister should not take a bullet for others!
Natalie suddenly felt a lump in her throat and took a deep breath.
Just as she was about to speak, Felix patted his chest and promised. "There won't be a next time. No matter what danger we face in the future, I'll stand in front of Natalie without hesitation. From now on, we're family."
Natalie turned her head in surprise, and Yves was equally astonished.
"Are you kidding? Who's family with you?"
Felix snorted confidently and smiled calmly.
"Natalie said she would take care of me for the rest of my life. Of course, we're family."
Felix leaned close to Natalie's shoulder, squinting his eyes, their faces very close.
"Natalie, you have to keep your word."
Natalie shuddered, and before she could respond, a tall, familiar figure suddenly entered from the door.
Gabriel grabbed Felix by the ear, his gaze cold and his voice icy. "Get lost."
Felix grimaced in pain, clutching his ear as he jumped to the corner, glaring at Gabriel indignantly.
"Gabriel, you're too harsh. Am I not your nephew?"
"You were kicked out of the Kensington family long ago. You still owe me five billion dollars. Having a nephew like you is a disgrace to the family!"
Felix looked at the cold and noble Gabriel. He didn't need to speak; just standing there, his aura was enough to overshadow everyone.
And he was only five years younger than Gabriel, slightly less handsome, but he was younger!
Natalie and he had a life-and-death bond, giving him a significant advantage!
Thinking of this, Felix straightened his back. "No matter how much it is, Natalie will help me pay it back. Right, Natalie?"
