Chapter 221 Left the House Without a Brain
Angela was so freaked out she could only nod like a bobblehead. "Yeah, I'm sorry. Natalie, I was wrong."
Then, with a quick yank, Natalie tore Angela's dress.
Natalie let go, and Angela screamed, her body dropping for a second.
But Natalie didn't fully let go, just watched her with a smirk. "You admitted it yourself; serves you right!"
Angela couldn't hold it in anymore and yelled, "Help!"
Natalie didn't stop her.
Soon, a crowd gathered.
Leo, wide-eyed, rushed to find Gabriel. 'Oh my God, this is nuts!'
Natalie sneered at Angela's torn dress and couldn't help but say, "Your dress is ripped. You really wanna be on display like this?"
The dress couldn't hold her weight.
Angela's face went white, and she clung to the railing, but it was no use.
Thinking about how she almost fell, she glared at Natalie, both angry and embarrassed. "You actually let go? You said you wouldn't if I admitted it!"
Everything happened so fast.
Angela was confused. Why was she the one almost falling?
Shouldn't it have been Natalie?
Natalie's smile was cold, her eyes icy. "You admitted you wanted to hurt me, so why should I help you? But you keep coming back for more. Where do you get the nerve? Did you leave your brain at home?"
Natalie had given Angela a warning, but Angela forgot it so quickly.
Well, Natalie didn't mind helping her remember.
Angela shook with anger and glared at Natalie.
Gabriel showed up, looking at the scene with a cold expression.
He was shocked!
Natalie had seen enough and looked away.
She frowned slightly.
Angela cried out, "Natalie, save me! Natalie wants to kill me!"
Everyone there could testify.
Now, Natalie couldn't deny it even if she wanted to!
Gabriel gave Natalie a look and was about to pull Angela up.
Natalie stopped him.
She sneered, curling her lips, and leisurely took out her phone.
"Hold on. I can't be wronged in front of so many people."
She tapped the pause button on her phone recording and replayed it.
It was Natalie's voice.
"Ms. Kensington, were you just trying to push me? If you lie, I'll let go."
Then Angela's anxious and scared voice. "Yeah, I'm sorry. Natalie, I was wrong."
The crowd went silent, then started whispering, "Ms. Kensington is really bold; is this attempted murder?"
"Yeah, why does Ms. Kensington have such a big grudge? Is she trying to kill Ms. Clark?"
"That's terrifying. Ms. Kensington looks so innocent, but who knew she was so ruthless behind the scenes."
"Good thing there's evidence, otherwise Ms. Clark wouldn't be able to explain herself!"
"Ms. Clark is really kind; she didn't even let go."
"Yeah, if it were me, who would care about the killer's life?"
Everyone's opinion of Angela tanked.
Truly, the human heart was unpredictable!
The recording kept playing.
Gabriel's expression was cold.
His eyes were like ice, freezing to the core.
Angela was so scared that her face turned pale, and she was unable to say a word.
Who could have thought Natalie had this trick up her sleeve?
Gabriel stepped forward, surrounded by a cold aura, and pulled her up from Natalie's grasp.
He then threw her to the ground.
Angela hadn't even had time to be grateful for surviving when everything went black before her eyes.
Gabriel bent down and slapped her hard across the face.
