Chapter 38 Compliments and Cooperation

Seeing Angela's poor expression, her friends fell silent.

The second floor of the banquet hall was relatively quiet. Victor led Natalie upstairs, where a young man wearing an expensive black shirt that seemed rebellious stood up. He lightly shook hands with them, and Victor smiled.

"Mr. Lewis, long time no see."

Nathan smirked, looking insolent in his expensive attire. "Mr. Clark, hello."

Before Victor could introduce them, Nathan looked at Natalie. His gaze carried a sense of admiration without crossing any boundaries.

"Ms. Clark, you're not only beautiful but also talented. I declined my dinner invitation to invite you to this banquet. I hope you don't mind."
Natalie smiled and said, "Of course not. Congratulations to the Zorblax Group on its fifth anniversary. I hope that in every year of the future, we can have pleasant cooperation."

She made a double entendre.

Nathan smiled and said, "Mr. Clark, can I have a separate conversation with Ms. Clark? After all, if there is a chance for collaboration, Ms. Clark is the person in charge from our company."

"Of course," Victor replied without surprise. He encouraged Natalie with his eyes not to worry and then turned to go downstairs to chat with others.

On the second floor railing, Nathan and Natalie stood facing each other. With the sparkling lights, they looked calm and confident as they chatted.

"Ms. Clark, I would like to know why you are so confident about this collaboration," Nathan said, holding a glass and casually shaking the crimson liquid inside.

Natalie raised an eyebrow, and a strand of curly hair fell casually on her forehead, adding to her allure.

"Mr. Lewis, the conditions I offered are very sincere, and I believe you have seen that. Among many investors, no one is more suitable than Clark Group. I'll be straightforward: you have the technology, and I have the money.

Clark Group doesn't think Zorblax Group will be profitable within five years. We are looking for long-term cooperation. I believe that in the next ten years, we will be the ones who determine the level of development in artificial intelligence technology in this world."

Companies that contribute more money than Clark Group don't offer as many benefits as Natalie does, and those that offer more benefits don't have enough funding.

Nathan is not just a businessman; he is also a technician. He wants to find the most suitable partner for his technological achievements.

Natalie's confident words made Nathan reevaluate her. In Nathan's eyes, there was less playfulness and more seriousness.

Nathan lowered his head and said, "Ms. Clark, do you mind participating in a three-way collaboration with another company?"

"Who else?" Natalie couldn't believe that there could be a more suitable company than Clark Group.

Nathan raised his hand and gestured behind Natalie. She heard the deep footsteps gradually approaching, and her heartbeat stopped for a moment.

The room instantly became quiet. With her glass in hand, Natalie turned around, and her smile froze on her face!

Sure enough, there was no one besides Gabriel who could compare with Clark Group and forcefully participate in this project.

Gabriel was wearing a black suit, and his expensive cufflinks seemed familiar. They accentuated his cold and indifferent demeanor.

His gaze lingered on Natalie for a few seconds before he casually greeted Nathan.
Nathan examined them. "I won't need an introduction, right? You should be familiar with each other. Sorry, Ms. Clark, for not informing you earlier, regardless of who our ultimate partner is, Kensington Group will be involved in the project."

Facing Natalie's bewildered gaze, Nathan smiled. "Because since the beginning, Mr. Kensington has been a sponsor for all of my projects."
